Cozy beach cottage
Great property with a perfect location, everything is walkable - the seaside shops, the beach, restaurants. You just park your car and get around easily on foot. It's small and quaint, is perfect for 2 and has everything you need for a comfortable getaway.

Love Seaside no matter where we stay
This is a cute cottage. However, when we arrived parking was tricky. The property address is on Tupelo, but can’t be accessed unless you park on the private drive which is a street over. This wouldn’t have been a big problem except for the fact that I drive a large SUV and there is a terrible layout for parking. If anyone would have been parked next door we would have been stuck because I wouldn’t have been able to get my vehicle out other than to back out onto 30a and cross the pedestrian sidewalk with no visibility (plants/trees/houses). Second, when we arrived, our code did not work on the door. It had to be reset remotely. Then, the code to the beach pavilion gate did not work. They gave me another code, which worked that evening but was not working the following morning. Very inconvenient when you’re carrying beach gear for 3 in 90 degree weather. The last thing I’d have to say is that if you are planning on cooking… it’s probably not a good idea. The kitchen is small, which is to be expected. It is very well stocked, but the smoke detector is only a few feet away and just turning the burner on set it off. No smoke. Scared my kids the few times I tried using it. The oven burned the bottom of biscuits and cinnamon rolls after only 1/2 of the recommended cook time which gave us raw food on the inside and burnt bottoms. I am an avid cook at home, so using kitchen equipment is not something new to me. I would suggest planning on dining out if you stay at this property.

Terrific Tiny House!
Our first visit to Seaside was awesome! We had a great time! I’ve been obsessed with tiny house for years and the house we stayed in was so cute! It was the perfect size, it was clean, and the location was perfect. We were right across the street from the beach pavilion which was so convenient. I really enjoyed being able to walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The only complaints I had were that the parking instructions weren’t clear (don’t park on Tupelo St, go down the street labeled Rosewalk-Private Drive and you can park right in front of the house), there were no directions to the community pool (but we stayed at the beach most of the time, so that wasn’t a huge issue), and the pavilion code in the rental info emails didn’t work (we had to text the management company who very promptly gave us the correct code). Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely visit again!

Great location and cozy space
My husband and two kids and I enjoyed our stay. It’s a small space but we were across the street at the beach or in the Seaside square most of the trip. We loved it. Having access to the private beach was a big bonus.

Family Vacation from Texas
Perfect location , easy access to the beach and food vendors in town. There was no need for a golf cart. We had a great time! Maintenance was timely and fixed any issues. All in all a great place!

Not worth it
First off the oven didn’t work, they gave us a toaster oven. All of the dishes were dirty, and the microwave didn’t look like they it was ever cleaned. The bath tub drain had a hard time draining , so we were standing in a foot of dirty water.the mattresses were old and hard. It’s great walking distance from everything.

Perfect location
Super small place, but gives you easy access to the beach and to the town center. Seaside is gorgeous and this little house puts you in the heart of it. It says it is for 4 people, but I think it would be perfect for a couple. We were a family of three and it was pretty tight. We knew that going in though, and went for it anyway. But just want to make sure people know what to expect!

Tiny house in the trees
I always wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny house, and after staying at Margarita Days I realised that I don't need so much space. The builders conserved space with built ins well. The location of the house is excellent: just cross the 30A and you are at the beach. It's an easy walk to the town square. The only problem was the parking space. With three houses right by, their cars were parked so that we would get trapped in our space, so we started parking on the street. Our neighbors were very friendly and helpful since they had stayed at the Red House several times. I would stay here again. Be prepared to use paper plates or wash dishes. No dishwasher but lots of dishes, pans, cups, glasses, and flatware.

Small sweet
Location is prime. Not mentioned is that the shower is located under a stair case making it difficult for a 6 foot plus tall person to shower. Kitchen does not have dishwasher which is inconvenient.

Good, but...
Great location, clean and good place. But, thermostat was upstairs above bedroom and did not allow us to set the temperature low enough to be comfortable at night. I do not like the temperature restriction. Also, I found it a bit ridiculous that there was a mandate for us to clean and put away all our dishes... especially with COVID going on, how can I trust the last guest to have actually cleaned the dishes? I believe that if I’m paying to stay at a location like this that I shouldn’t be required to take out my own trash and trust the precious occupant cleaned the dishes.

Hi Jeffrey, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and are sorry to here about the issues you experienced. We've never had any complaints about the thermostat but will be sure to address this with the correct departments. We have always had part of our check out instructions indicating that guests wash and put away all of their dishes and take their own trash out. We do have inspectors to check and make sure this is done. If this is not done, we do take care of it and charge an extra fee to the departing guest. We ask that our guests do take care of these few things so that our cleaners are able to focus on other areas of the home. Great Seaside location
Really good space for 2 people in Seaside. Just across the street from the Tupelo private beach access. The space is small but worked well for our two week stay. This was our 31st consecutive Summer stay in Seaside and we typically rent a much larger house, but there were only the two of us this trip. The fees are much lower on this VRBO house than when using Seaside’s Cottage Rental Agency. We used both companies in the past and the Cottage Rental properties are typically in better condition but this place was an exception-it was in really good shape. We will rent it again next year if it is just the two of us. The space would be small for more than 2 people for more than 2 weeks with just the one bathroom. Tip: We rented beach chairs from Cabana-Man the first week and used RentGearHear the second week. RentGearHear was almost half the cost for the same umbrella and chairs, but the access point was about a block and a half further away at the Hickory Street public access. The cottage is so close to the Tupelo St private access, I would probably just stay with Cabana-Man next time unless budget was an issue. The only negative I can think of is the couch is a bit old and probably needs replaced soon, but otherwise, I would recommend the rental highly for 2 people.

Wonderful stay in Seaside!
I stayed at Margarita Days with my wife and son and we had a wonderfuul time. The cottage is in the perfect location and was really cool. It is small, but worked for us quite well. Internet was solid throughotu ouur stay And heating and AC worked fine when needed. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure! : )

I love this house!!!

Amazing Location
My wife and I spent a week here over Spring Break. The bungalow was perfect for two. Two levels with the beach just across the street. In addition, you are walking distance to Seaside city center - restaurants, shops, music, etc. we will definitely try Margarita Days again!

The location is great. Walk to everything in seaside. Beach access right across 30A. The house itself is cute. House for the most part was clean and well kept. Adult pool was nice and quiet. Parking right out front was convenient. However, this cottage could use some sprucing up. Here’s why. 1. The bed was really really uncomfortable. It’s so hard it’s like sleeping on the floor. (The couch was just as bad) 2. There was mold on our shower curtain. 3. The WiFi was spotty and was completely out for 4 out of our 7 days. We couldn’t stream movies on the rainy nights - so don’t expect high speed. Our phones worked better if we disconnected from WiFi and used our data.

Small but perfect!
Perfect location! Right across the street from the beach and 2 blocks down from Town Center. Little tight for a family of 4, but it worked! Couch is still uncomfortable to sleep on so we donated a foam mattress pad to the house. We will be back to Seaside and hopefully get to stay at Margarita Days. Thanks for sharing your house!

Love this place. Location, Location, Location!
Inside Seaside gives you all the amenities pool, workout facility, tennis, 2 blocks from world famous shops, restaurants and bars. However you are in a secluded in a romantic, charming two story house one block from the sea. Be sure to take all supplies. Salt and pepper, coffee filters, kleenex, ice, beach towels, toys and chairs. there is a large grocery store within 3 miles. Will stay again!
