Casa Yara is designed with an open-concept layout that creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for groups. The pool, kitchen, living room, and dining area are all part of the same space, allowing everyone to share the different moments of the day together whether cooking, swimming, enjoying meals, or simply relaxing while staying connected.

The house features a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing meals at home or enjoying the optional cook service (ask us for a quote).

There are 4 comfortable and private bedrooms, all with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and closets, designed to offer comfort and privacy for all guests.

Two king bedrooms are located on the ground floor, both with luxurious outdoor bathrooms, offering a unique tropical experience.

On the first floor, there is one queen bedroom and one king bedroom, both spacious and bright.

At the top of the house, you will find the rooftop, one of the favorite spaces of the villa. It features a palapa, a jacuzzi, and panoramic ocean views. It’s the perfect place to relax at the end of the day and enjoy beautiful sunsets from the jacuzzi.

At night, you can also enjoy incredible star-filled skies, creating the perfect atmosphere to disconnect and enjoy the tranquility.

Puerto Escondido is one of the most attractive destinations in Mexico. It is famous in the surfing community for having the third-best wave in the world.

In Puerto, you’ll find a wide variety of activities to enjoy every day: surfing, yoga, functional training, meditation, holistic therapies, and more.

There is also a large community of digital nomads, travelers, and locals, which creates an eclectic atmosphere and a great opportunity to discover new cultures and connect with people from around the world.

The Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, where Casa Yara is located, is one of the new residential areas in town. It is only 5 minutes from the famous Punta de Zicatela (by car or motorcycle) and offers a peaceful setting while still being close to everything.

In Puerto Escondido, the best way to get around is by renting a scooter or a car so you can move easily from one place to another. We can help you arrange this if you’d like.

You can park on the street in front of the house. Puerto Escondido is generally very safe.

You will also find various shops and small stores less than 5 minutes away.

Puerto is a small city that is still developing. This means that temporary power outages may occasionally occur. If this happens, please be patient—service usually returns within 10 to 15 minutes. If it does not, please notify your host so we can follow up.

We are in a tropical area. We regularly fumigate to keep the space free of insects, but you may occasionally see a small bug or animal. If you need guidance or assistance, please feel free to contact us.

If something in the house is not working properly (such as the refrigerator, air conditioning, fans, etc.), please let us know as soon as possible. We want you to have a comfortable stay and will resolve any issue as quickly as possible.

Puerto has grown significantly in recent years, and many accommodations have been built in the area. It is important to respect the neighbors and the community.

After 11:00 p.m., there should be no noise or music that could disturb the neighbors. This rule is established by the local authorities.

Failure to comply with this rule may result in fines, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a peaceful and harmonious environment.

From June to September is the rainy season. It does not rain every day, and it usually happens at night or early morning. Occasionally there may be storms or hurricanes. All bedrooms in the house are protected and allow you to stay comfortably inside during rainy weather.

Due to the tropical climate and warm temperatures throughout the year (around 30°C / 86°F on average), the beds are dressed only with sheets. Occasionally it may feel a bit cool early in the morning; in that case, we suggest turning off or adjusting the AC temperature, or using the fan.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
NOISE: Please keep noise at a respectful level at all times, out of consideration for our neighbors. No parties or events are allowed, and large speakers are prohibited.
NO SMOKING IN ROOMS: Smoking is only allowed in outdoor areas.
