Ideal for families or small groups of friends, this two-bedroom accommodation features a fantastic and bright living and dining room. The living area is equipped with a large sofa-bed with a chaise longue, perfect for relaxing and watching TV in good company after a long day of sightseeing.

Access to the pleasant balcony is through the living room, allowing wonderful natural light to illuminate the entire interior area during the day. The balcony is equipped with a table and chairs, making it the ideal outdoor space to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for preparing all your daily meals. In addition to crockery and basic utensils, it includes a fridge, microwave, oven, hob, coffee machine, washing machine and other practical appliances to assist you in your daily routine.

Both bedrooms are harmoniously decorated, providing a serene atmosphere to rest. They are equipped with comfortable double beds and large wooden wardrobes to keep your belongings neatly organised. One of the bedrooms is en suite, with a private bathroom.

The bathrooms are fully equipped with all amenities, including towels and toiletries for your convenience.

The space is always professionally cleaned.

Please note: Private garage parking is available, but the space is tight and requires some careful manoeuvring (not recommended for large vehicles or SUVs).

Located in the picturesque town of Caniço, this accommodation offers you the perfect retreat to experience the true essence of the Island of Madeira. The energy of this neighbourhood is defined by a welcoming serenity, combining the charm of local life with a fantastic seaside atmosphere. Caniço is famous for its mild climate and sunny days, inviting leisurely walks through its squares, lined with friendly cafés and typical restaurants. Just minutes away, you can dive into the crystal-clear waters of Praia dos Reis Magos or marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views at the iconic Miradouro do Cristo Rei in Garajau — whose Nature Reserve is also a world-renowned paradise for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts.

Despite being an oasis of tranquillity, the great advantage of this address is its extraordinary proximity to Funchal, the island's vibrant capital. In just 10 to 15 minutes by car, you'll be in the beating heart of Madeira! Here, you can get lost in the colours and aromas of the emblematic Mercado dos Lavradores, taste the traditional poncha in the lively alleys of the Old Town, or take the famous cable car up to Monte to visit the stunning botanical gardens and descend on the thrilling wicker toboggans. Staying in Caniço gives you quick access to all this excitement, while allowing you to return to peace and quiet at the end of the day.

Beyond Funchal, Caniço is undoubtedly one of the best strategic bases to explore the rest of the island, benefiting from quick access to the motorway and its proximity to the International Airport. On short trips, you can head east to visit the historic town of Machico (with its beautiful golden sandy beach) or Ponta de São Lourenço, with its dramatic volcanic cliffs. Travelling north, you can easily reach the charming town of Santana, famous for its traditional and colourful thatched cottages, or the starting points of the most magical and lush Levadas that wind through the Laurisilva forest.

The property is located in Caniço, a quiet town in the south of Madeira Island, with good connections to central Funchal and other areas of the island.

By bus, there are stops close to the property with regular connections to Funchal, operated by Horários do Funchal (HF).

By car, Funchal is approximately 15 to 20 minutes away via the motorway (Via Rápida - VR1), which is the most practical and fastest way to get around the island. Private parking is available at the property.

Madeira International Airport - Cristiano Ronaldo is approximately 10 to 15 minutes away by car, making arrivals and departures very convenient. Taxis and services such as Uber are available in the area.

This is a self check-in property and you will be asked to verify your identity before being able to check in to the apartment (15:00). We ask all guests to fill in a registration form that will be sent after the booking confirmation, in accordance with the legal obligations set out by the local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of tobacco, ash, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a fee of at least €200 EUR.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use utility policy applies with a limit of €80 included.

For the first few days, we provide the following basic amenities: small containers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, washing-up liquid and a bin bag.

Extra keys: €20 (extra set when possible, lost keys or door opening service).
Extra cleaning: price of a cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).

Please note: A rental contract must be signed online prior to your arrival. We will not be able to provide your check-in instructions until the contract is signed.
