The property manager was in consistent contact with me and made sure we had everything we needed. The owners have clearly given attention to all the details, including the use of beach chairs and beach towels, night lights around the condo, beautifully appointed kitchen. Would definitely stay there again.»

We walked to everything we needed (groceries, restaurants, ice cream, surf shop) and took strolls along the beach. Multiple other beaches with surfable waves were a short drive away. «I was in Carpinteria for work and stayed in this quiet, comfortable place for three nights. It has everything you'd want, including a full kitchen. I was very happy to see there was plenty of coffee and a good coffee maker! The bed is huge with a great mattress. Great shower and water pressure too. The condo is only a block from the beach and within walking distance of all Carpinteria has to offer. The owner was responsive and I didn't have any issues getting in or checking out. «Loved the location and how beautifully appointed this apartment was. Enjoyed being able to be on the patio right on the beach. Don’t think we would have enjoyed our stay as much if the apartment wasn’t so beautiful! Very convenient parking. Very walkable to the adorable downtown full of cute shops and a variety of great restaurants. My only con: it annoys me that VRBO lists a nightly price, then tacks on $700 in fees…with a hotel you get the actual price you’ll be paying, not the price before ...

«Very responsive owners and a condo on the beach. The only issue was the noisy tenant upstairs (family with little kids and a barky dog). But they were only there for part of the visit and it is unlikely that another VRBO member would encounter a similar problem.»
