Our cozy Zirbitz Hut, complete with a sauna and fireplace, is located right on the edge of the forest at an elevation of 1,050 meters, offering a magnificent view of the mountains in the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park.

Hiking trails begin right outside the front door, and the Grebenzen ski area—with guaranteed snow—is just a few minutes away. On the spacious, partially covered terrace, you can hear the murmur of the nearby mountain stream; sun worshippers will be in their element here.

We’ve placed special emphasis on allergy-friendly amenities, including allergy-friendly mattresses, comforters, and upholstery.

A wood-burning stove and gas heating provide cozy warmth, making the house suitable for year-round living.

The first floor features a large living room with a flat-screen TV and fireplace, an open-concept, fully equipped kitchen, a guest restroom, and a sauna.

The two bedrooms with solid-wood double beds, as well as two bathrooms with showers, toilets, and bathtubs, along with a washer and dryer, are located on the first floor.

From here, a staircase leads to the converted attic, which features three single beds.

The property is accessible by car year-round, and there is ample parking available.

There is also a charging station for electric vehicles with a Type 2 plug.

You can set out on a hike directly from the house into the mountains of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park; the spectacular panoramic view from the 2,400-meter-high Zirbitzkogel is a must-see for every mountain lover.

Just 3 km from the chalet lies Lake Auerling, which is perfect for a refreshing swim and fishing in the summer.

Not far from the imposing Benedictine abbey—founded in 1076 and well worth a visit—is a solar-heated outdoor pool with a wonderful mountain panorama. UNIQUE!
