Beautiful garden and friendly staff
I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend. The room is nice and clean, and there is a beautiful garden on the backside of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, who gave us detailed information about nice places to see in the area. The breakfast was an experience in itself. Good local food, and a lot to choose from. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Fint, sentralt hotell
Fint hotell med god service sentral plassert. Vi fikk rom i et ankes, altså ca 200 meter fra der selve hotellet lå. Det er en hårfin grense mellom utdatert og rustikk, dette hotellet balanserer nok litt på denne grensen, men ligger foreløpig innenfor. Til en rimelig pris fikk vi et stort fint rom med velutstyrt bad og egen terrasse med utsikt over deler av stedet. Hotellet fremsto som rent. Parkeringen til hotellet var litt kronglete å finne ut av selv, her kan det være en fordel å få et kart tilsendt el. fra hotellet slik at man hurtig kan finne parkeringen og hvordan man kommer seg til hotellet fra parkeringsplassen. Frokosten var relativt enkelt etter norsk standard. Dette var tilfellet også de andre stedene vi var, så dette er nok ikke så uvanlig her. Til en rimelig pris anbefaler jeg gjerne dette hotellet til andre.

Et utrolig hyggelig hotel i en fantastisk flott liten by! Nydelig italiensk frokost og en romantisk bakhage tilhørende hotellet! Servicen var også ubeklagelig! Anbefales på det varmeste!

This hotel has a magical atmosphere. We had the best time. The only thing to be said which was a bit negative is that the hotel is not very Child friendly. The restaurant staff on the contrary were very children friendly. I hive this hotel my warm recommendation we Are definitely going back here.

La struttura è suggestiva in quanto albergo diffuso in un borgo antico. La colazione è, abbondante e servita a tavola con una ricca scelta di prodotti preparati artigianalmente e uova cotte al momento. Una delle migliori colazioni mai trovate in alberghi anche di categoria superiore. Consigliatissimo!

Just exceptional. Staff is phenomenal. Was offered capuchinos when coming in. Representative took us around the hotel which is beautiful and gave us a room upgrade. Best room I have eber had with a living room and large fully remodeled bathroom. The garden is a solutely beautiful and pool is so pretty. The reastaurent belong to the hotel and is excellent.Had dinner and free breakfast was included.

The property is in a lovely renovated medieval Tuscan village which is very quaint but limited in variety of eating establishments and shops and what is there has very limited and inspiring menu items. Staff in the restaurant connected to the hotel seem to be poorly trained in good customer service. There is no intimacy in their approach to customers, they seem distant and unsure of themselves. In two weeks in Tuscany staying in six different hotels this was our least favourable stay and by no means the least expensive. Over priced and over advertised as a Relais hotel in my mind.

Dafür lohnt sich der Aufenthalt in San Quirico.
Das Hotelgelände beinhaltet einen ganzen Block aus dem 15. Jh. Inbegriffen darin ist der große parkähnliche Innenhof mit dem sehr schönen Pool mit Wasserdüsen, Liegen, einem Whirlpool, einer Bar - und direkt ums Eck das eigene, gute Restaurant. Der Ort San Quirico ist auch sehr hübsch, aber klein - das macht das Capitano sozusagen zur Hauptattraktion des Ortes.

Soggiorno romantico e di qualita'.
Hotel dall'atmosfera romantica, ideale per coppie. Molta professionalita' in tutti i servizi come reception, pulizia della camera, bar. E' stato un ottimo soggiorno. Vale la pena di programmare fin da subito un po' di tempo da passare in hotel, soprattutto nelle stagioni quando si puo' sfruttare il suo giardino, benche' il contesto geografico sia molto ricco di attrazioni. La zona all'aperto, inclusa la piscina, nelle foto sembra piu' grande della realta', ma non e' comunque una delusione poiche' e' bella e ben tenuta. Il ristorante annesso e' un po' caro, con prezzi sopra la media dei locali del paese, ma la colazione, che puo' essere inclusa nel prezzo del soggiorno, e' ottima.

We have travelled the world a lot and have stayed at over hundred different hotels (Gold-/VIP-members at Hotels.com). Rarely seen worse than this compared to our expectations. Bad service (we had to wait for our rom that wasn’t ready upon arrival without apologies etc etc), bad AC (warm and noisy), no free water and bad breakfast (cheapest food from Coop and you need to pay extra for eggs..) Not recommended.

Yes. Yes. YES! This hotel was amazing!!
This was such a beautiful hotel, located in a beautiful area. The staff were friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and would DEFINITELY stay here again in the future! The hot tub/jacuzzi was a HUGE plus with our legs being sore from walking and exploring all the nearby villages.

The place was amazing. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The facility was very nice and clean the rooms were very comfortable , the garden was beautiful enjoyed wine and coffee there. Getting to the hotel is a BIG challenge!...the hotel should clarify the directions to get there. Additionally, no place to park the car at all!! It was quite horrible just to off load the luggage. To keep the car overnight, had to go to another outside parking location. There was only one person trying to check-in three arrivals...so no help and long wait! :-( Other than the above: the rooms are clean...although no elevator to get up to the rooms...so get ready to carry luggage over many stairs! :-)

The location is great, their restaurant is excellent and the exterior garden is nice. We had 2 rooms. One smelled liked an old wood chimney and the toilet seat was coming off. The door squeezed loudly. Air conditioner in 2nd room did not work at all.

The staff were very nice and helpful, from greeting to showing us all the amenities. The gardens were beautiful. We parked below in public parking and walked a short distance uphill to get there, inside a very old walled city, very picturesque. Breakfast was great. This property is ideally located to venture out into Tuscany.

Quaint, fun property and great staff
Hotel is really cool - it is in the center of a walled town in an old stone building. Beautiful garden area off the second floor. Rooms were a little funky as might be expected but clean and totally serviceable. The staff was great - loved Coco and Mario. Coco drove down to the parking area below town to grab our bags for us and was just a friendly and helpful guy. The town of San Quirico d'Orcia is pretty but kind of on the quiet side. We liked it for a night but in retrospect with limited time in Tuscany I would have voted for Orvieto or maybe Siena or Montalcino over this town. The hotel restaurant that is off the grounds was highly recommended to us but ended up being one of the most disappointing meals of our trip. Hate to say that because maybe they had an off night but it was a completely uninspired meal in a trip that was full of great ones.
