The stay was just ok, what should make me give it zero stars is the my experience with the restaurant staff. Because the rooms are dated, no microwave etc., I needed to warm up leftovers. I was told the kitchen can do it. I got a song and a dance about health regulations because I didn’t buy the food from them, which I found hilarious because you have street vendors cooking on a dirt road with absolutely no health regulations but anyway they did take my food and after around 20 minutes I asked what was going on and they said the kitchen was busy and they put my food in for 1 more minute, 10 minutes later I asked for my food and they gave it back just as cold as I gave it. Now this was a small piece of steak that I wanted to add to my dinner that I just bought and now they were both cold.
It’s was beyond ridiculous, but I know that was just the kitchen and restaurant folk, but overall the place was just ok, it’s right on the beach and the water was blah as compared to other Caribbean waters.
