NEIGHBORHOOD NOISE ORDINANCE:

Maintain a respectable noise level while staying in our home. Residential exterior noise standards require that speakers, music, yelling, pets and vehicles cease excessive decibels by 9 PM until 8 AM Sunday through Thursday and 11 PM until 8 AM Friday through Saturday. Residents will not tolerate noise in this neighborhood; conclude all noise by 9 PM to avoid any conflicts.

Recent stay in Santa Cruz Puerto Rico

My family enjoyed our 5 day stay. The hosts were very responsive to our requests and questions. The house is very secure and convenient to San Juan. However, it could use a deep cleaning and a refresh, especially the bathrooms and kitchen.

Adult's get away for my birthday

This house was beautiful, it could use some updates but it had everything we needed. It didnt have an oven but who in the heck is going to use the oven when its hot outside. The owners were helpful with 2 issues we had and took care of what we needed. My only complaint was in order to lock the door from the inside, you need the keys. You couldn't leave the house separately, you would have to leave as group or leave one door open if soneone was staying behind. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved PR but not Impressed with the house Not Worth what I paid

The house did Not meet my expectation:The house is 20/30 min from most places (which I knew this was not a big deal, but there was a lot of driving back and forth).The host was very responsive before and during our stay and very nice.Very disapointed that when we arrived the Pool was Green and as a pool owner know it was unsafe to swim so we stayed away.. They came to clean the pool on about day 4 (at that time the pool was crystal blue and clean), but that should be done before a guest checks in.The interior of the house is very outdated with bare minimum.The exterior pool area, bar area is in need of a deep cleaning.We stayed the week for about 6K and def not worth half that price.

Adequate for our needs

We are a family of 4 adults and 4 kids ages 9-14. Approaching the home it is beautiful. The outdoor space was great and we spent most of our time on the patio when we were at the house. The kids enjoyed the pool. The “hot tub” is a stretch. We couldn’t find a way to activate the jets and it wasn’t hot. The pool water, which was warm, circulated between the pool and “hot tub”. I would say it was more of a circular sitting area attached to the pool. The kitchen is in great need of a total remodel. The amenities in the kitchen were sparse. There are, however, many spices which we appreciated. We purchased some storage containers to use while we were there. We did cook in a couple times and we were able to make our meals between the stove and charcoal grill. There is no oven, just a small toaster oven. The dining room table seats only 4 people which we made work because we are 4 adults and 4 children. We very much appreciated the air conditioning and separate controls in each bedroom. The main bedroom and bath is beyond spacious and is very nice. The other bedrooms could benefit from either a chest of drawers or closet shelving to be able to unpack. The bath that serves the other bedrooms could also benefit from some shelving. There is a cooler to take to the beach. The host was very responsive and lives only a couple minutes from the house. Our flight was delayed and he kindly went to the house to put our Walmart delivery items into the fridge for us.

Okay but not great

First the negatives - When we arrived, we were disappointed to find some of the house was a little run down. Cupboard doors in the kitchen were hanging off the hinges and didn't close properly. There was no oven for cooking (we were a group of 12 and planned to cook most of our meals at the house). There was a small toaster oven, but when we used it, it blew a breaker. The refrigerator was very small. The first time we ate, the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. And there wasn't enough silverware for all 12 of us. The manager blamed a lot of the problems on previous renters. We also had problems with the downstairs toilet getting clogged. We were able to plunge it ourselves most of the time, but had to contact the property manager for assistance once. It was two days later before he came over to fix it.The listing says there's a hot tub. There is a separate, round area off the end of the pool that has seating. It is the same temperature as the pool, which was okay. But there were no jets. I would have a hard time calling it a hot tub. The front gate was very heavy and hard to open and close. The locks had to be replaced. The property manager did that as soon as we contacted him. We loved the side yard and the pool areas. The kids loved the pool. Some parts of the house looked like they had been updated and were nice. I think the main problem we had was the kitchen and the lack of cookware, silverware, appliances, etc.

Perfect house

Family of 10 stayed at this beautiful home and we fit comfortably. Host was very patient with us and responded quickly with any questions I had through email, text and call. Back yard is even better in person than in pictures. It does not have central air throughout the home but that was not an issue. Since it’s high up opening the windows does allow a nice breeze to come in. All bedroom do have their own AC and they work fabulous begged my husband to turn it up at night and one room turned theirs off completely. I had forgotten some items at the house, messaged the host immediately and asked if he could ship them out he said he would. I’ll be back to update review if I did get items through the mail. The only downside of the home is the super narrow streets going to and from the house. Since you are driving uphill it can get a little scary especially at night. Other than that, if I do plan to come to to PR again I’d def stay here again.

Beautiful large vacation home - great experience!

This property was perfect for our group of 8. It is very close to the airport and the rooms are large and comfortable (all beds). The rooms are temperature controlled (have a/c) which allowed us to make the home perfectly comfortable for us. Of the many homes I've booked on this platform all over the world, the pool and grill area on this one is second to none. You have your own resort-style area just for you and your group. We did have a cat (it wasn't feral, looked well-kept) that visited quite a few times - outdoors only. The cat was not invasive and was very well behaved. We, a group who is not into cats, actually enjoyed the cat and gave her name. She became part of our trip! If you force it, she'll leave, but she's not a bother at all. Excellent property!!! Thanks to the property manager to be immediately responsive if ever needed. They went above and beyond for us.
