OVERVIEW
Located on the beach within walking distance to town, this extravagant property wins over guests with its lavish amenities, including a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, lofty guest rooms, and a myriad of activities throughout the resort Accommodations feature spacious baths, ocean-facing balconies, in-room jacuzzi tubs, and balconies with private plunge pools. Indulge into total relaxation by booking a specialty massage or any of several top-notch spa services at the luxurious Brio Spa and end your day with a meal at El Mezquite, where you can savor wood-fired cuisine as you admire indoor greenery and spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez. The Grand Mayan at Vidanta Los Cabos also houses three additional dining venues, all of which garner praise from past guests for their eclectic culinary delights.

POOLS
The resort features three expansive pools: the pool closest to the ocean features an infinity-edge design and a central deck with a fire pit and lounge chairs. The middle pool is where you will find a swim-up pool bar. And, at the largest pool furthest from the beach, guests will find a water fountain, in-pool lounge chairs and several jacuzzis. Pools are open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and poolside food and beverage service are available throughout the day/evening.

SPA
Guests staying at The Grand Mayan have access to the Vidanta Los Cabos Brio Spa, which features several treatment areas, a beauty salon, a sauna, a steam room and jacuzzis. Treatments include massages, body wraps and scrubs, facials and hair and nail services. Specialty treatments like couples' massages and men's facials are also available.

FITNESS
The Grand Mayan features a fully equipped fitness center with cardio and strength-training equipment, free weights, exercise balls, and yoga mats. Various types of fitness classes are offered throughout your stay. For some outdoor fitness fun, guests can head to the beach where they'll find a sand volleyball court or sign up for a game of tennis; arrange for some lessons if you like. The fitness center is open daily from 7:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and complimentary towels and water are provided.

GOLF
The larger Vidanta Los Cabos resort complex offers a 9-hole golf course on-site. The par-35 course features a putting green and practice area, plus a club house with a restaurant and bar, a pro shop and tennis courts. Free shuttle service is provided to and from the golf course. Your stay with us includes 2X1 golf.

DINING
Four restaurants can be found at The Grand Mayan. El Mezquite provides a full menu of delectable wood-fired cuisine. For poolside fare like ceviche and fish tacos, the resort offers Si Snack. Other sweet and savory casual breakfast bites like Baja-style eggs, pancakes and chilaquiles are available at Samba. And at the golf course's La Laguna Social House, guests can savor American cuisine. Room service is also offered during restaurant hours.

KIDS
The resort's kids club offers arts and crafts projects and other daily activities for children ages 4 to 12. And at the beach kids can find a trampoline in addition to just the fun an oceanside beach provides. Outdoor movie screenings are offered during your stay, and babysitting services can be arranged for a fee.

ROOMS
The Grand Mayan features marble floors, crafted wood furniture, and a neutral color palette that gives a warm and welcoming feeling from the minute you walk in the door. Room amenities include a terrace with ocean view, a jacuzzi tub, walk-in showers and flat-screen TVs. The 2BR suite includes a kitchen and private plunge pool. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the resort.

THINGS TO SEE
The resort is close to some of San Jose del Cabo's most popular landmarks, such as Plaza Mijares (1.1 mi) and Tanya Talamante Art School (1.1 mi), Cabos Grand Los Mayan is a great destination for tourists. Also popular are the Flora Farm (1.0 mi), San Jose del Cabo main square (1.1 mi), or San Jose del Cabo Church (1.0 mi), which are popular attractions amongst tourists, all within walking distance.

BUSINESS
The Grand Mayan can accommodate your business functions as well with a meeting room that can accommodate up to 100 guests plus any audio/visual or other technical requirements. Restaurants and pool decks can also be used for events, just let us know if we can help arrange this for you.

WEDDING
Couples can tie the knot at The Grand Mayan. Ceremony and reception venues include the resort's beach and pool decks. Just let us know and we can work with resort staff to help arrange the details for a perfect and memorable tropical wedding.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations are for a 7 day stay/1 week stay and can start on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Children are 12 and under. Living rooms include sleeper sofas to accommodate maximum number of guests per room. Because the resort books quickly, booking at least 6 months out or earlier can help guarantee the dates you wish to travel. Availability from January through March is very tight, so reservations for this period should be made as far in advance as possible. Reservation dates can be modified up to 90 days prior to check in and will incur a $250 cancellation fee. Less than a 90-day notice cannot be modified albeit for medical emergency.

Payment at the resort is cashless; you may use your credit card or register your credit card at check in to get set up for a signature-only payment system.

A small municipal tax of around $7 (depending on the value of the pesos to dollar) is charged each day.

Restaurant prices are comparable to most popular eateries in the U.S. Meal packages may purchased that include six breakfasts/ lunch and six dinners for a discounted cost.

Because this is a membership resort, an offer to attend an informational (sales) meeting that includes a free breakfast, discounts on tours and resort activities, and 10% off food and beverage at check-out is presented at check in. It is optional and there is no obligation to attend.
