Clean, comfortable, spacious, and great location
It’s a nice property with comfortable beds and plenty of space to move around. It’s set up to either rent entirely or in part with a communal kitchen/gathering area. We were pleasantly surprised to have the whole home to ourselves. The two 5-gallon jugs of water were a nice touch and cold water waiting in the fridge. Nicely equipped. Cool blowing AC. Hammocks on the upstairs deck overlooking the park. The location can’t get much better. It’s on the main road, which isn’t to say it’s loud and busy. There’s not much commotion in San Ignacio. It’s walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We took the owner’s recommendation to book transport tours with MayaWalk, which was right down the street, and it made it so easy to get around and explore. The landscaping was well kept and colorful. The interior was in fairly good condition. It seemed recently renovated though there are just a few some signs of wear. Not many points of concern. There are several access points into the home. It was a bit of a safety concern for us. We triple checked that every door and gate was locked before going to bed. The check out list also included taking the trash out and washing the dishes. I don’t think that should be a guest’s responsibility but in our case we hardly had any of either so it wasn’t a big inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again!

3 Very large units and a common area. Very clean at a very reasonable price. 3 Nice balconies. Some amenities could use some updating. Need to bring your own Amazon Fire Stick or Roku if you want live TV. Close to the best restaurant in town, the Guava Limb. Would be much nicer if there was a washing machine. Ideal location for all activities in the Cayo District.

This was super great. Three huge spacious rooms. Full kitchen and living area. Two patios to unwind. 5-10 minutes walk to all the best dining options in town, and the central location where all tour groups meet. Free WiFi, and owner provided 5-gallon drinkimg water drinking water jugs as needed.

Great place for a big group
Our family of 7 loved having so much space. The location in town is perfect. Quiet and just a short walk to buy street tacos or check out the market. Great base camp for exploring the area. There was always street parking available just in front of the house.

Nice home.
Very nice house near restaurants and bars. Comfortable setting. Perfect for our excursions. Melly was very nice and helpful. My recommendation is that they put together a welcome package to include: Address Where to park What door to enter the house in (there are several entry areas) How to work the safe In addition, they shoud invest in a blow dryer and bottle opener.

FABULOUS LOCATION & COMFORTABLE SPACIOUS HOUSE
We traveled with our 2 adult children and chose this house so we could each have our own bedroom, bathroom, and some private space. The hammocks on the upper deck were so relaxing! We loved the large showers, open kitchen & living room area. The bathrooms & kitchen had a lot of counter space which was really nice. We also appreciated the 5 gallon water jug of purified water. The location was perfect. There are several awesome restaurants right down Burns street (we ate at Guava Limb, The BURNZ, and Ko-Ox-Han-Nah aka. Hannahs) There is a park right behind the house and a block to the market and the center of town. The only tricky thing we found was that streets aren't really labeled, so finding the house initially gave us an unexpected tour of the town. Fortunately we'd seen pictures of the house and knew it was close to the market, so that helped. The code & door key were easy to access, the house was very clean, and we loved looking at the book on the coffee table "Heavenly Belize" showing pictures of this beautiful country.

San Ignacio Babette Home
Located in the community of San Ignacio, this house was our favorite home during our travel in Belize. The back porch view faces a beautiful park where we observed children playing soccer and a impressive flute player providing us with music every night! The house has three private bedrooms with a bathroom for each. The bottom bedrooms have their own small refrigerators and kitchen sinks. The main kitchen, dining area and living room are a perfect communal area for family members to gather. Within walking distance is the infamous market and excellent dining choices! We had our own vehicle and were close to the Mayan ruins, Raptor Center and all the attractions that San Ignacio offers! This spot is definitely a gem that we hope to return to. San Ignacio is beautiful! Wildlife is bountiful if you visit the right spots!

Better than expected
The home was perfect for our group. It is a large home with three very large master bedrooms each having there own master bathroom. Also two large decks that we loved having our morning coffee while watching toucans feed in the nearby trees. It was very clean and in a great location for easy walking to the shops, market, and multiple restaurants. WIFI worked good and our host Melly was very quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly recommend, it was more than I could have asked for.

Short but sweet stay
Melly was very helpful in answering questions and responding to our requests. The house was in town and very close to all the restaurants. It was clean, big ,and safe. We had an ant invasion in one of our bedrooms even though we didnt have food in there. You are in a tropical place, so don't be shocked. Overall, I would stay again if I return to San Ignacio.

Great location!
After some searching we chose this property for our stay in San Ignacio. Booking was simple and Melly was helpful.. The location was great and felt safe. Melly was responsive to some of our concerns during our stay.(larger table on the patio and additional towels) Some things we might have liked to have as a family group: More furniture on the 2 patios, more cleaning supplies ( cooking and children can be messy), the large refrigerator in the kitchen area and smaller room units were not plugged in and could have been useful for us. TVs were functional with fire sticks brought from home so luckily not having cable was fine and the wifi was great!!! Overall great experience at a vacation home that would be especially good for smaller groups. Melly was a wonderful host.

Exceeded our expectations!
This property is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice; perfect for our group of six. Honestly I was tempted to skip the ruins and just hang out at home. There was an excellent restaurant “The Guava Limb” a two minute walk down the street, we ate there both nights of our visit. Melly was an excellent host and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again for future visits.

Exceptional home away from home
