"Quiet, clean, and abounding with lovely rustic charm. A terrific place to unplug and get back to nature. Staff is kind, grounds are just beautiful with lots of places to tuck oneself in with a book or to just daydream. Breakfast was perfect. My husband recommends their pancakes:)"

"Hummingbirds, right at my doorstep! Hummingbird garden Appreciative I had been upgraded by Alamo with a 4 x 4, taking me to the top of the mountain. I am in decent shape. I preferred walking the paths at the top of the mountain having ridden to those trail heads. This includes parking at the top ..."

Macho Mora Mountain Lodge
"We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. ..."
