This is a little slice of heaven on earth. Host accommodated last minute change to our reservation without difficulty. If you are looking for the perfect spot to disconnect and unwind from everything-this is it. Each morning we enjoyed coffee sitting at a table in the barn, watching farm animals and magpies and hummingbirds; then we would walk down the road deeper into the farm and enjoyed looking at all the old relics displayed. We returned to our cabin and sat on the shaded porch, listening to the breeze whispering through the trees and watching birds at the birdbath while enjoying playing cards. Eric was charming and he enjoyed giving my husband a razzing about never wearing shoes. We would stay on the porch playing cards until we could no longer see them at night or just rest and relax in the cabin. I enjoyed cooking a meal each day for us in the small but well equipped kitchen of our cabin and we would return to the shaded porch to eat and continue soaking up the rustic experience that this place provides. Truly disconnected from the chaos of society. I hope we are blessed enough to return one day.
