DO NOT STAY HERE!! We had a very concerning experience at this hotel as a single mom traveling with my children.
We returned around midnight after a concert and were unable to access our room due to a lock malfunction. Neither our key nor the master key worked. We waited outside our room for about 40 minutes, and were not informed until around 1:30 a.m. that the door could not be opened at all.
During that time, my child’s life-saving medication was locked inside the room, along with all of our belongings and food. As a parent, that was extremely stressful. We were eventually placed in another room after 1:30 a.m., had to sleep in our clothes, and purchase additional food since ours was inaccessible.
After getting very little rest, we were then woken up at 8:30 a.m. and told to retrieve our belongings.
The manager was unavailable the entire time and never followed up—not that night, not the next morning, and not even after the incident. While I did eventually receive a refund a week later, there was no communication, no apology, and no acknowledgment of the seriousness of what happened.
This was not just an inconvenience. It was a safety issue, and as a single parent managing this situation alone, it should have been handled with far more urgency and care.
I hope the hotel takes steps to improve both their emergency response and how they communicate with guests when something goes wrong.
