Dissatisfaction
Pros: Great Food nice pools Cons: No wifi the and the front desk people are rude. Also far from all the main attractions this hotel is pretty much a motel with me ce pools. Don't recommend at all.

they will not let you make dinner resevations on your 1st day , and every morning at 7am i had to go to desk to make a dinner reservation and then at 8am to reserve for the show, they do not have enough space for the ala carte restaurant and force u to eat in a buffet , it was horrible experience , not a good place for a vacation

Worst experience ever. We had our honeymoon completely ruined by this « resort ». The so called beach is about 15 meters long and is filled with huge rocks that made it impossible for us to cross. The hotel staff was arrogant, the food disgusting, the room was small without a mirror (only the frame), only one lamp out of the two was working... We though at least we will chill at the disco... No! The disco is under reconstruction. When we mentioned to the manager of the resort the photos from Expedia, he said he had spoken to them about taking down some of those pictures as they dont represent the current state of the resort. We will file a complaint, dont go to this resort... I have been to 2 star hotels much better than this!

Good place for a family or those who like cruise ship type vacations with all the food you can eat, etc. Construction on street keeps beach from being more enjoyable, temporary problem. Rooms are standard, no frills.

A praia em frente ao hotel e poder utilizar os outros hotéis da rede são os únicos pontos positivos. O "albergue" não se parece com as fotos do site devido a má conservação Quarto sujo com baratas mortas desde o primeiro dia e nunca tiraram elas de lá Banheiros da recepção e piscina IMUNDOS. Funcionários insatisfeitos e mal educados, omitiam informações e destratavam os hospedes Tentar reservar qlqr coisa era uma guerra, no mínimo 40 min. O "sujinho" estava entulhado de gente Recepção quente e sem ventiladores Comida ruim, mal feita e sem variedade Como o "albergue" estava SEMPRE LOTADO quando a comida vinha era uma guerra pra comer Bar com bebida intragável, musica apenas ao vivo e com cantor amador Snack bar com banana-chiclete, cachorro-frio e hambúrguer que parecia sola de sapato Longe de tudo ! 30 min do centro de taxi (56 pesos pra ir e voltar todos os dias) Esses problemas são exclusivos do San Luis, pude visitar os outros hotéis da rede e constatar que o atendimento, comida e conservação são sensivelmente melhores. Nada incrível, mas melhor. Fiz uso do "sujinho" apenas para dormir e (tentar) tomar café da manhã e passei o dia nos outros hotéis da rede. Decameron San Luis nunca mais ! E vou fazer meu review no trip advisor também. Podem aguardar...

Nice beach even though erosion has taken a toll
The beach was nice, however, erosion has played its part, there isn't almost any sand left on San Luis. This scene happens around other parts of the island also. In that sense, if you are looking for a white sand beach, look elsewhere.

O hotel tem quartos em padrões bem variados. Primeiro nos colocaram em um quarto muito ruim, pois estava mofado e a janela não abria. No dia seguinte pedimos para trocar e nos deram um quarto bem melhor, com varanda no segundo andar. Então não dá pra ter certeza de que tipo de hospedagem você vai ter quando reserva o hotel, o que é muito ruim.

Resort razoável
Pelo preço que é cobrado, a gente esperava um pouco mais da estrutura do hotel, como: restaurantes com comida mais saborosa, lanches da tarde e da noite mais variado, alem de salsicha e hamburguer e horários mais estendidos dos lanches. O hotel fica cerca de 25 minutos do centro, mas sempre tem ônibus passando na frente que é tranquilo de pegar, sempre tem táxis na frente também. Ficamos em um quarto que fica atrás de uma das piscinas, isso era um pouco ruim porque em determinadas horas tinham atividades recreativas com bastante animação e barulho.

Hotel muito confortável em frente a praia de San Luís, não é a melhor praia da ilha, mas é muito bonita. O hotel fica um pouco afastado do centro da ilha, mesmo assim não deixa nada a desejar. Equipe de mergulho muito boa junto ao hotel.

La peor experiencia de mi vida. Malas instalaciones. Empleados groseros. Pésimos eventos. Pésima comida. Pésima fiesta de año nuevo. Pésima instalaciones de playa. Pésimos las bebidas. Pésimos snacks. No había disponibilidad ni información de nada. Malos gerentes. Malo el servicio médico.. Inexistente. Pésimo sistema aires. Pésimas toallas.. Amarillas. No hay minibar para pasar el hambre y la sed del asco de de no comer en instalaciones. Pésima presentación comidas. I WISH I NEVER BOUGHT ANYTHING THRU YOU. YOU SHOULD HAVE MONEY-BACK GUARANTEES.. 14 MILLION PESOS DOWN THE DRAIN LITERALLY. FOOD POISONING.

Friendly staff, nice beach, and terrible internet
Overall, our family visit (with a 2.5 year old child) was enjoyable. Let us state upfront, we would not recommend the facility based on the HORRIBLE internet service (slow, unreliable, requires new username/password each 24-hours, and only available in one small lobby location). But, if the internet access was different we would recommend and even consider returning. Now, we will continue with describing the rest of our visit which was relaxing. This facility has welcoming and friendly staff, good but not outstanding food, clean but small rooms, nice beach with clear water, and nice pools. We visited the beach in the morning and the pools in the afternoon. The beach is public with small with some beach chairs, clear calm water and clean white sand. Our daughter enjoyed playing in the sand and trying to catch the small fish in the clear water. The pools were clean and the water temperature was refreshing. The small pool-side bar served tasty tropical drinks. The food at breakfast was very good and lunch was much better than dinner; while the food quality varied from very good on some days to good on other days. The omelet breakfast service and the made to taste pasta at lunch were the best. All the fruit was fresh and tasty. Although the facility offers entertainment, we choose not to partake in the evening activities but enjoyed the beach activities. This facility is an excellent place for a family with small children and parents not needing to access to reliable internet.

Una estafa
El Decameron San Luis me pareció una estafa. En la web parece tener una playa de 20 metros y apenas entran 2 reposeras. Las instalaciones del hotel son malas, insuficientes y con pésimo mantenimiento. El servicio de comidas y bebidas 'all inclusive' es pobrísimo y de pésima calidad. Todo esto considerando que el valor por noche corresponde a resorts all inclusive 5 estrellas de lujo en otros destinos del Caribe. Hemos recorrido los otros Decameron de la isla y la mala calidad del servicio de snacks y comida e instalaciones se repite en todos. Como ejemplo del mal servicio brindado, llegamos y 1 hs después del horario de check in la habitación no estaba lista. A la noche, cuando intentamos ducharnos antes de cenar, no había agua caliente y cuando reclamamos en la recepción nos respondieron que recién al día siguiente alguien podría ocuparse del asunto.

Tive muita dor de cabeça por culpa do Hoteis.com em grande parte. Simplesmente NÃO REPASSARAM minhas exigencias quanto ao tipo de acomodação que gostaria, cheguei para fazer checkin no hotel e simplesmente estava em branco minha ficha e me jogaram em um quarto nos fundos do hotel literalmente, onde a porta emperrava e o ar parou de funcionar 3x durante a noite. Só depois de 2 dias que me mudaram de quarto. O serviço é confuso, os funcionários da recepção péssimos, te atendem de mau humor sempre. Os funcionários do hotel da parte de serviços e entretenimento são muito prestativos e atenciosos, ponto positivo pra eles. As piscinas são boas e limpas e o serviço de comida é meia boca, melhor arrumar um hotel no centro e comer fora, é mais negócio.

Expensive and Old Hotel
Old hotel. The food at the Internacional Restaurant (where you'll do 80% of the meals) isn't good. Pastafari Restaurant is very good, but you can dinner only 2 times per week. The night shows are excellent. Expensive and low quality hotel, try another one.

You should never stay at a Decameron Hotel
The place lacks the basic features that you will surely find in any other hotel. Being supposedly all-inclusive hotel, I got this: 1 No potable water on the room 2 No wireless internet on the room. If you need to connect, WIFI is available in a limited area at an extra charge 3 The key for the Safe-deposit box in the room has extra charge 4 Swimming pools were most of the time on maintenance. You cannot swim after six 5 There is only one restaurant that does not need reservation 6 Have your breakfast and meal early, because drinks get finished 7 No flat screen. You get a 15-year-old relic TV with a terrible image quality 8 The shower dirty and full of hairs 9 No fitness center 10 No Hot tub Besides the poor infrastructure and hygiene, the terrible customer service is their greatest weakness: 1 Bad-humored personnel during check-in 2 They don’t answer the phone at the reception 3 They refused to provide us with a second key to the room for my other friend 4 Tourist information has no clue about the activities you can do on the island 5 No transportation offered at all 1 I have never seen such an irresponsible scuba diving school in a hotel. First 2 dives were rescheduled 1 minute before the confirmed hour even when I waked up early. Scuba equipment was too big for my size and one of the o-rings failed when I was testing the regulator. No wet suit offered and I froze while diving. Last dive, the dive master did not show up. Don’t trust your life to them.

Hotel con poca mantención
Las ventajas del hotel es que es un all inclusive y que pertenece a la cadena de los Decameron (ya que puedes utilizar las instalaciones de otros Decameron). Dentro de las desventajas, se encuentra que no esta muy aseado, le falta mantención a la infraestructura, se encuentra muy alejado de la ciudad, la playa es muy pequeña, y sin sombrillas para el sol. En general, es un hotel de 3 estrellas, que por precio calidad, esta bien, pero muy distante de los otros Decameron.

Buena animacion pero bajo nivel d eservicio
Fue placentera, aunque no logra cumplir con las expectativas de habitación -sin telefono, sin wifi ( q aparte es carisimo) y con aire central que no logras adecuar la temperatura que queres y nos pareció poco agradable que nos cobren una caja de seguridad y que se nos negara el traslado al hotel por hacer la reserva por internet,auanque el precio era mínimo nos pareció chocante llegar con todas las expectativas y que nos reciban con ese tipo de cosas. También, uno de nuestros motivos al elegir de cameron era poder aprovechar los otros hoteles, pero no logramos ni una sola vez conseguir lugar a pesar que hacíamos cola para pedir desde las 8 am durante varios días.

En rangos generales, el hotel es regular. El check in al ingreso es demasiado lento. El personal de recepción da indicaciones rápidamente sin dar chance a preguntar algo, de lo contrario ponen mala cara. Alli solo es el registro, y la entrega de llaves es en otro lado del hotel, en donde se demoraron cerca de una hora. Servicio de internet no funciono en tres días, por lo demás solo lo tienen disponible en el lobby, televisión por cable funcionaba con intermitencia, y la luz y el agua de la habitación se cortaban constantemente. Tener atención con los ofrecimientos de una empresa de Decameron llamada Multivacaciones. Ellos te comienzan a preguntar si deseas conocer las instalaciones de los demás hoteles de la cadena, y resulta ser un ofrecimiento para los programas de tiempo compartido, en donde el trato inicial es muy cordial, pero si das una respuesta negativa, te tratan bastante mal. Al comienzo nos pidieron 45 min para darnos a conocer sus servicios, y a cambio nos pondrían un tranfer para llevarnos al centro desde el hotel donde estábamos, pero resulto que estuvimos casi una hora y media, y al solicitar el tranfer al centro, no quisieron llevarnos, por lo que tuvimos que tomar un bus de la locomocion colectiva que pasaba fuera del hotel. Cuidado con Multivacaciones, ya que hace pasar malos ratos.

Mala atención y servicio
Tuve inconvenientes en el baño de la habitación, perdía agua y andaba mal el inodoro, cuando hice el reclamo, la persona que vino me dijo: Es por la gravedad que sube el agua... y al otro día se inundó todo. No podía controlar el aire acondicionado en la habitación, y hacía muchísimo calor. el colchón era muy duro, pedí que lo cambiaran y en recepción me dijeron que si y la serñora de limpieza me confirmo que era mentira. En la recepción no me atendieron bien y me fui del hotel, pagando una diferencia por otro Decameron, una verguenza total el servicio...

La verdad fue un desastre, yo he estado en muchos all inclusive y este no da para llamarlo hotel, me parece que se les fue de las manos el crecimiento a estos señores. Estoy recomendando a mis conocidos que NO VAYAN A SAN ANDRES Y MUCHO MENOS QUE TOMEN ALGUN DECAMERON, lo que cobran no se condice con el MAL SERVICIO que otorgan. Ustedes no deberían tener esos hoteles en su oferta, les hace quedar mal.

Lamentable. Las habitaciones muy chicas, con pocas comodidades, se nos llovieron (dos de las tres que teníamos), muy mal mantenidas, ruidosas (se escucha todo), entre otras cosas, algunas habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado central, el cual no se puede regular (día y noche), los motores de aguas, servicios etc. se escuchan todo el tiempo. Hubo un día que simplemente no nos hicieron el aseo. La variedad de comidas muy poca. Las habitaciones están muy cerca de las piscinas lo que hace que las actividades que ahí se realizan sean mas ruidosas aún. En la noche, las actividades de entretención, también se escuchan en todo el resort. El personal es atento, pero, se nota que están muy cansados (es lo que se aprecia). La imagen que aparece en la web, dista mucho de la realidad. La playa es muy ´chica, no tiene ninguna comodidad. Las tumbonas son de plástico, sin toldos. Por ningún motivo volvería a un Decameron.

Para ser un hotel ubicado en un lugar tan cálido, su personal es super serio, bastante respetuoso pero muy serios, es como si estuvieran molestos. Si es cierto el Decameron San Luis es el más alejado del centro y de los otros de la cadena, igual es bastante tranquilo cuando uno lo que busca es descansar alejados un poco del ruido de la cuidad. En términos generales bastante bien todo.

Tudo durante a nossa estadia estava boa, tivemos somente problemas no check inn (entrada) muita demora e para que fossemos alocados tivemos de dar bronca com a gerencia, quanto a arrumação dos quartos tivemos problemas no segundo e terceiro dia, não por culpa da arrumadeira mas sim por falha administrativa.

Ressalvas:banheiro pequeno no quarto-Faltou água por 2 vezes para banho-, serviço barman regular -alguns insatisfatorios-depende quem te atende. Restaurante satisfatorio- internet- serviço pago foras do ar por 3 dias seguidos- A esccolha deste foi pelo nome da rede de Hoteis Decameron- mas deixa a desejar- vantagem de poder usar restaurantes dos demais hoteis da rede- Possui clube de praia- Mar Azul e Aquarium- melhor opção em relação a este. Não possui serviço de praia.
