The Cottage @ The Hen and Hound Farm

A cozy and bright 2 bedroom, 1 bath ocean side cottage B&B situated on the scenic Walker’s Hook Road on Salt Spring Island with private covered ocean front boat house and secluded beach. Breakfast provided, our guests receive coffee, teas and light breakfast fare.

The entire cottage includes a seating patio just in front with a view of lush forests and ocean. The cottage also comes with a storage area for recreational items such as kayaks and bikes. This rental comes with semi private ocean access and a private oceanfront patio with a secluded beach for your use. ( the ocean access stairs and lower boat house are shared with the owners. Owners have private items stored at the lower boat house that are not for guest use. )

Guest have full access to areas surrounding cottage, This rental comes with semi private ocean access and a private oceanfront patio with a secluded beach for your use. Owners have private items stored at the lower boat house that are not for guest use. ) They do not have access to the farm, yurt, yurt drive away or yurt ocean access. They do not have access to the Forest Bath unless the experience is booked seperately

Guests also have access to the ocean view bar at the Farm Stand

We live up the road from the cottage and are here in case you need anything.

Walkers Hook Road is a scenic destination for biking, walking and includes the Fernwood pier along with restaurants and cafes.

Salt Spring Island has one taxi, is very bike friendly and a bus system. Generally people use private vehicles to travel.

The Hen and Hound farm is a working farm 1 Irish Wolf Hound, Beowulf and 2 kids Munro, 8 and Mae, 5. Our farm is located just up the drive from the cottage, the main gate is visible from the shared drive. We also run a wine bar and tasting room, Taste and a farm to table dinning experience, Feast, in Ganges.
