This 1907 brick Victorian home underwent a year long restoration down to the studs, including structural reinforcement, and now shines once again.
The home has an original exposed brick wall and beams, an electric fireplace, and an entertainer’s dream backyard.
We were told by many that the best route to fix this home would be to tear it down and build new. There is no way we were doing that.

Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated with old homes and the charm that came with them; excellent brickwork, tall ceilings, and so much more. The Victorian was purchased in complete disrepair. Everything needed to be replaced and it had substantial structural issues. Purchasing this home, I truly had no idea how much work would end up going into this restoration but in the end stands a fully remodeled historic 1907 Victorian. To restore old homes is my passion and this project, although difficult at times, was a labor of love.
This historic home boasts 5 full bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, a huge driveway w/2 car garage and a partially fenced backyard (almost the entire backyard is fenced minus the driveway area. The home has two kitchens giving you ample place to cook and entertain.
The backyard is an entertainer’s dream that includes TWO firepits (one wood burning and another gas), a hot tub, a turf patch with outdoor seating, a hammock, and even an outdoor dining table for 6.
We put our heart and soul into this house transforming it from one of the most run-down in the area to its current condition. Love was put into the restoration of this old home so that people can enjoy a piece of SLC history for many years to come.

Main Kitchen Large fully stocked kitchen with huge island for seating of 7 guests and an original exposed brick wall.
Back Kitchen: Attached to Bedroom 5 is a fully stocked kitchen as well. Small bistro table in this kitchen.
Living Room on Main Floor - Modern furnishing with a very cozy atmosphere right off the main kitchen. There is no dining table in the entire home. The kitchen island has seating for eating and the back kitchen has a small bistro table. Huge 60’’ Smart TV on the wall.
Living Room in Loft - The loft area has its own thermostat so air flow is very good in hot or cold temps. There is a desk with an office space and some cozy leather loungers. There is also another 55’’ Smart TV in the loft.
Laundry 1 - There is a laundry room in the basement. It is finished but does have concrete floors and walls. Be careful going down to the laundry as the head height is only around 6’ 8’’.
Landry 2 - there is also a stackable washer/dryer in Bedroom 5.
Exterior/ Driveway+ Garage: 1. There is a 2 car extra long garage for your use. I do have my small trailer parked at the very end of the garage but you should have no problem still getting your vehicle in. There is still enough room for another 5-6 cars off the street on the long driveway. 2. The backyard is almost fully fenced except for the driveway area. 3. The front and backyard are completely gravel. There is only a small turf patch in the backyard. There is no real grass on the property.

You have access to the entire property. No space is shared. I do keep my trailer parked in the garage but you should have no issues getting your vehicles in and out. It is an extended 2 car garage.

PET RULES AND FEES:
MY pet fees are different than the standard Airbnb platform pet fees. Airbnb does not allow me to do a nightly rate for the pet fee, they only for the entire stay. The PET fee is not included in the booking. As a pet owner myself, I don`t like getting charged high pet fees for short stays, that is why I created my own separate per-night pet fee to be added after booking. I am also willing to be reasonable on the pet fee for longer stays. Ultimately I am not trying to be sneaky about the pet fees but I want to try to make the fees fair for all guests with pets who come for short stays or for long!
We allow (3) pets! You must agree to $25/night per pet fee, added to the booking total after booking (Please inquire about the pet fees for longer stays). Please also agree to a Zero impact pet policy (meaning there will be no sign a pet was onsite upon departure, you don’t allow pets on furniture). You accept full liability for your pets.
EVENTS: Occasionally we have guests ask if they can have a birthday party, a family reunion, or another event.
We do allow small events and you are responsible for catering and for cleaning up the yard fully after your event. You are welcome to bring tables and chairs for the backyard. Please inquire about hosting events at the property.
***NOTE*** For your safety and peace of mind, this property is equipped with advanced meth detection sensors. These devices monitor the air for even the slightest trace of methamphetamine and will immediately alert me if any is detected. This system is in place to ensure a clean, healthy, and safe environment for all guests. I’m committed to providing meth-free housing so you can feel confident and comfortable during your stay.
Utah has a high desert climate and as such there are house ants, occasional harmless spiders, or Box Elder bugs that are usually seen more during seasonal changes such as going from winter to spring or vice versa. As responsible hosts, we have agreed to a pest control contract with Uintah Pest Control to service all our properties. Sightings are rare but are possible. An occasional sighting is not considered a reflection of the cleanliness of the property. 1) LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING. NO EXCEPTIONS!
2) Occupancy limits: Please make sure to message your host if you are having over 10 guests or people who will be visiting. Each guest must be on the reservation
3) Fees: There is a $200 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property.
There is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT/EARLY ARRIVAL FEE if you are there longer or arrive earlier than you have been authorized causing the cleaner to have to wait for you or be rushed. I care about my cleaners very much and their time is valuable :)
Enjoy the firepit but be sure to keep it clean after use and extinguish your fire! If using the gas firepit ALWAYS turn off the propane after use.
4) Quiet Hours are from 10 PM-8 AM. Be a good neighbor!

6) I don’t allow mail delivery as this unit has no mailbox. Please use Amazon Locker or an equivalent. Please speak with the host first if you need to send mail.
7) Alterations/Changes: Once you have confirmed your booking, any modifications to the dates or guest count may be treated as a cancellation and therefore be subject to the cancellation policy. The host retains the right to charge for lost dates you have removed with an alteration of at least a partial amount to the discretion of the host.
8) All events at the property must be discussed with the host and will involve event rate pricing. The driveway has tons of parking space!
9) Hot Tub Information- Before using the hot tub make sure to unbuckle all 4 plastic clips on both sides of the cover before folding it over so they do not break. They break easily and are costly to repair.
Please be sure to wash the body of any dirt, oils, and/or lotions before entering the hot tub, and do not spill any beverages/eat any food in the hot tub. After each hot tub use, we ask that you place a small baggie of shock that is provided in an ammo box and run the jets for a few minutes. Be sure to turn the jets off after those few minutes. This will help keep the water super fresh during your stay! Be sure to keep the shock baggies away from kids and pets! There will be a $125 charge if the hot tub water is in very poor condition after your stay. By following these hot tub rules, all guests will be able to enjoy a clean hot tub during their stay!

Jeremy was great and the house is awesome!!! We stayed with multiple adults and children - the house was clean, spacious and had great amenities. We were all very comfortable. Jeremy responded very quickly and answered lots of questions for us. If we visit Utah again, we will try to book this place again.
