    Welcome to Poncha Creek House, a stunning retreat nestled at the top of Poncha Pass. This beautiful home offers breathtaking mountain views and is perfectly situated for outdoor enthusiasts, with easy access to ATV riding, hiking, and mountain biking trails right at your doorstep. Just 30 minutes from Monarch Mountain and 20 minutes from the charming town of Salida, this location is ideal for those looking to explore the best of Colorado's natural beauty.

    Other Things to Note:
    -This home does not have Air-Conditioning

    All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand and dish soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry detergent. Please bring your own toiletries.

    Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

    All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

    ~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 72 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

    **This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's on unapproved roads, pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

    Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

We found the property overall very nice. The beds were very high of the floor making it difficult for older (near handicapped) or shorter people to get into bed. Once able to get into bet we found them to be very comfortable.

This was a beautiful house and very well equipped for cooking and staying! The hosts/property managers were extremely responsive and kind! Would stay here again without question!

Hands down, best house we’ve ever stayed at. The house itself is beautiful. So comfortable and more than ample room for our family of four. My number one concern is always cleanliness and this house was spotless. I dropped a whole bunch of pills on the floor in the bedroom and had to pick them all up. A few had gone under the dresser and it was clean even underneath when I pulled the dresser out! I was amazed.Now for the location. It’s close enough to salida that I drove there for coffee every morning before everyone else got up. Close enough for quick trips to Walmart. But yet so private and you really feel like you’re in nature. You can hear the gurgling of the creek as it runs by. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with the baby birds in the nesting box on the house. Hummingbirds are plentiful. One even landed on my foot. It is so nice to sit on the deck in the sun in the morning drinking my coffee or in the evening just listening to the nature sounds. I was definitely sad to leave this house and I hope we are able to stay there again next year.
