Papaye - Charming Creole cottage 2 steps from the sea

"Papaye" is a colorful one-bedroom apartment nestled in lush greenery, offering complete privacy at the Zandolikoko vacation rentals in Sainte-Anne, on Helleux Beach.

Ideal for two adults, it can accommodate up to 4 people.

It consists of:

- A small, air-conditioned bedroom with a 140x190 cm double bed, a mosquito net, and a shelf.



- A large 24 m² room that serves as a living room or an additional bedroom if there are more than 2 adults: here you’ll find a sofa bed that we can convert into an extra double bed for 2 people (adults or children) with a mosquito net.



There is also a TV and a bamboo bench.

! Please note that there is no air conditioning in the living room. We can set up the sofa bed for two adults who wish to sleep separately—for a small additional fee to cover laundry costs. Please let us know in advance.

- A kitchenette with induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and refrigerator.

- A bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet.

Outside, you’ll find a covered patio with patio furniture and a hammock, as well as a private, tree-lined garden with two lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and a clothesline.



On the patios, you can connect to free Wi-Fi. (Depending on your device, you may also be able to connect indoors.)



We provide bed linens, bath towels, and dish towels (changed weekly).

Linen changes can be arranged more frequently upon request for an additional fee.

The same applies if you’d like a mid-stay cleaning.

We lend out a crib and high chair free of charge if needed



Since our home is on the property, we can recommend great places for walks or restaurants, and we can also lend you masks, snorkels, and bodyboards if you’d like.





A 500-meter walk takes you to Helleux Beach (Gros Sable Beach). You can swim at this beach, and beginners can safely take surfing lessons.

A 10-minute walk will take you to the Pierre et Vacances beach. To get there, walk along the coastline through the “50 Pas Géographiques” protected area, which offers a magnificent view of Marie-Galante. The beach is public, with white sand and coconut palms.

A 15-minute walk will take you to the picture-perfect beaches of Bois Jolan. Here, too, you’ll enjoy a superb stroll through the hills amid sugarcane fields. You’ll walk past ponds where you can watch birds. It’s also a car-free protected area.

By car, for shopping, you can reach the hamlet of Châteaubrun in 2 minutes, where you’ll find a gas station, a bakery, a small grocery store, a doctor’s office, a pharmacy, a physical therapist, and more…

A 5-minute drive away, there’s a small shopping center with a Leader Price, a bakery…
