Raphaelle, spacious villa with private pool and studio

  • In a green area situated in the Perigord Noir, 2 km from the village of Saint-Rabier, you will enjoy a stay with family or friends in this modern, bright house for up to 10 people with a small independent studio. Raphaelle is spacious with large windows opening onto a large terrace overlooking the pool and a private garden.

    It is the ideal place to enjoy the tranquility and the nature, very close to the main attractions of the Dordogne (the caves of Lascaux, Château de Hautefort, Dordogne, Sarlat, Périgueux ...).

    Inside house
    Raphaelle has four bedrooms, one bathroom and two toilets. A large living room of 55 m², consisting of a kitchen open to the living room and a dining room with large sliding doors giving access to a large wooden terrace and a garden with private pool.

    Inside studio
    The air-conditioned studio consists of a large room of 30 sqm, with a kitchen and a sleeping area and a bathroom with a toilet.

    Outside
    Around Raphaelle, there is a large terrace to relax and to enjoy nature. A large private and enclosed garden of 2500 m² and a salt water pool of 8x4 m with an internal staircase.

    Environment
    In a quiet and green environment, 2 km from Saint-Rabier with a small supermarket and 1 restaurant, also 1 km from another village where there is one doctor, one pharmacy, one bakery and one restaurant and is easy to walk in about 6-minute walk. Supermarkets at 7 and 12 km.

    Activities
    At 15 km from the caves of Lascaux, 12 km from the Castle of Hautefort, 40 minutes from the medieval town of Sarlat and Perigueux.
    Guests can enjoy a walk through the walking tracks, or go canoeing on the many rivers of our region (Auvézère, the Dordogne or the Vézère)

    Attention: in June the price is based on only the house, if you want to use the studio too, you pay another 200 euros extra

Un lieu idéal pour découvrir La région

Nous étions un groupe de 10personne et nous avons séjourner 1 semaine. Nous avons apprécier la maison, le jardin et la propreté de la maison. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux. La maison est spacieuse, la cuisine bien équipée. Nous avons quelques petites difficultés avec le four à gaz... le séjour est grand donc agreable en groupe il y à 2 terrasses sur lesquels il est agréable de manger. La maison est proche de l autoroute ce qui facilite les déplacements et les visites. Nous avons été surpris que la 2ème salle de bain se trouve dans la dépendance , nous ne l avions pas compris. Une 2ème salle de bain dans la maison aurait été appréciée. Nous aurions également préféré avoir des lits plus grands. Ce sont des lits 140cm sauf 1 chambre avec 2 lits de 80cm. Le lit du studio n est pa un vrai lit mais un clic clac très peu confortable il mériterait d être changé. Mis à part cela notre séjour c est extrêmement bien passé et nous y avons passé de bons moments.

Super séjour !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Bruno et Sandra. La maison est très bien équipée, très propre, très agreable à vivre. La piscine est bien entretenue. De plus, Bruno et Sandra sont des hôtes charmants et discrets. Bref, nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour !

Bruno & Sandra’s Raphaelle

Raphaelle is a lovely home which belongs to Bruno & Sandra. The directions provided brings you to a small hamlet called La Maison de Muguet. Just as you come into La Bachellerie take a right turn, takes you across the railway line. The road goes round to the right and then left, it is on the left with a small road up to the gates with Bruno’s vegetable garden with chickens on the right. The pictures of the house don’t really do it justice. The gardens are large with lots of flowers and interesting spots to chill out. Our 2 dogs loved the grounds as they could nose away as the garden is surrounded with a fence. Theo did find a way out twice. The house has 4 good size bedrooms with lots of wardrobe space. There are 2 toilets, a lovely bathroom all with beautiful views. The kitchen, dining and living room are open plan with large doors leading out to the patio and gardens. It is equipped with all that you need for your stay with Bruno & Sandra leaving some welcomed wine and homemade jam, this with fresh flowers from the gardens was a nice touch when you arrive. We rented the property to enable us to rest and recuperate and the property provided this. There are good supermarkets nearby in Terrasson-Lavilledieu, Montignac and Thenon with all the shops you need in Brive-la-Gaillarde, with a large farmers market worth walking round and sampling the products. As this was our 4th year visiting the area, we only went out a few times to enjoy the history, food and wine, the places we visited were beautiful medieval buildings with rivers running through the towns. Périgueux was lovely and we had a beautiful fine dining 3 course lunch in L'Epicurien. Well worth visiting. In the old town of Terrasson-Lavilledieu is well worth a visit, again some lovely restaurants. Montignac is also worth a visit and has a Vet across from a large Intermarche. Bruno and Sandra, have a beautiful home. Many thanks to Bruno for providing us with home grown tomatoes and walnuts which were magnificent. We were blessed with sunshine for our two weeks stay, the pool was used every day. There is a fully equipped annex beside the pool where the washing machine is housed. This has without a doubt, been the best house we have stayed in. If you want relaxation and a modern home, close to amenities, then this is the place for you. We loved sitting outside in the evening talking, listening to music and watching the stars.

Super sejour en famille

Les hôtes sont très accueillants et la maison encore mieux quesur les photos et tres belle piscine, des vacances au top dans un superbe cadre où bruno et sandra nous accueil merveilleusement bien, à refaire très vite
