«Very nice hotel in good location near Gorey, with good English breakfast. We did not have a car during our stay, but with a bus station almost outside that was not a problem. Also, we rented bikes, which was a really good way to sightsee since the island has an excellent network of bicycle roads. Also, the small heated swimmingpool was an added benefit. We did not have time to use the tennis court.»

«The hotel was excellent, as were the flights to from the Uk to Jersey, with Blue island flights. However the same could not be said for Expedia, we booked and paid for a package, including the flights and hotel. Within an hour Expedia came back to us saying the return flights were not available. We asked for a full refund but Expedia would only refund us for the return flight?? We booked return flight with Blue island ourselve (plane was only half full) we will not use Expedia again. »

«The service at this hotel is exceptional I would say, couldn't be more professional, helpful and friendly, from the welcome in the morning at breakfast, to the reception area answering any question, to the service at dinner. «This was our third stay at the Chateau. It was exceptional value for money and good service. However the snack (two sandwiches) were grossly overpriced. The only other negative was the piped music which is broadcast in all the public areas. It would be nice to have the beautiful sitting room music free so that one could read quietly. Otherwise a lovely stay.»
