You will be 2 kilometers from the Spanish border, 43 km from Figueres, 35 km from Céret, 30 minutes from Prats de Mollo, and close to the Canigou massif. (The sea and its fine sandy beach are 60 km away). The Sainte-Marie church, in the small village of Coustouges (800 m), is a gem of Romanesque art that is a must-see. Ground floor: You will enter directly into the fully equipped kitchen, with access to the laundry room. 4 steps lead to the living room and bedrooms. The large living room has been designed to highlight the character of the building, with generous volumes and a fireplace. 2 bedrooms: master bedroom (1 queen-size bed), children's bedroom: 2 single beds (can be pushed together for a couple). Bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs, open mezzanine with an extra bed, which could potentially be used as a third bedroom. Enclosed, sunny terrace opposite the gîte entrance. Dog guidelines: Dogs are welcome, however, they must be kept on a leash throughout the property; no exceptions will be made. ( We have cattle, and the property is also a hunting reserve.)
