Great rental

This is a well equipped rental. It has very comfortable furniture and beds. You can sit on the sofa and look out at the canal and watch mullets jump, and manatees swim by.

Beyond our expectations

This property was beyond our expectations. The area was excellent for walking and biking to restaurants. The house was clean and welcoming, it didn’t take long to feel at home. The canal offers so much from fishing to seeing manatees up close. We rented a boat for the whole week that we kept at the house on the lift and were able to visit so many different islands and see dolphins and sting rays, the restaurant/bar Mangos on North Captiva is a must visit. We are already in the process of booking our next stay. We absolutely loved it.

Outstanding Vacation Spot!

Highly recommend renting this house! The location on the water at south end of Pine Island exceeded all our expectations. So delightful to sit on the house dock watching the mama manatees with babies and the dolphins right there in the canal. The private boat lift opens up worlds of exploring the bay and gulf and if you fish, its paradise. Bring your own boat or we rented one from the Monroe Marina (nicest people) just up the canal. Loved visiting the beautiful uncrowded North Captiva and Cayo Costa sandbars & beaches that you can't get to by car, as well as docking up at restaurants on Pine Island, Sanibel and Cabbage Key. The house is even nicer than the photos. It’s super clean, newly remodeled, well-stocked and in a lovely quiet neighborhood, where you can walk, bike, boat or drive to restaurants (Phuzzy’s (live music), Froggy’s, Blue Dog (Matlacha) and Cabbage Key Inn). The kitchen has everything you could need including a Keurig and blender. Loved the giant island/table with seating all around it so the “cook” can be part of the fun, too! There are seafood markets nearby with fresh local catch (fish, crabs, shrimp). Master is on separate side from other 2 bedrooms which is a nice layout. Comfy mattress and couches; strong water pressure and good internet. Moveable stools in pool are fun. Well set up for fishers: separate high volume ice maker & cleaning station. Host Ryan was easy to communicate with. We would definitely rent this house again :)

Great house, great location

We had an incredible stay! This property is perfect for relaxing after a day out on the boat. The location couldn't have been better. Easy access to great fishing spots and a quick boat ride to Sanibel Island, Captiva, and Fort Myers Beach, we had a new adventure everyday. The house itself was impeccable – clean, new, and well-maintained. The fully stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze, and we appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property. From the comfortable beds to the spacious living room that opens to the lanai, and the pool. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and explore more of what this area has to offer. Thanks for providing such a wonderful vacation rental!

Absolutely Cozy

We arrived to a crisp and clean cozy home. This has a wide open layout with great view of canal and the patio with pool. We also loved the fish decorations. Relaxing in the pool inside the bug free patio was a joy. We rented a boat from the local marina and had it delivered to the boat hoist prior to our arrival. Enjoyed boating to local beaches and to local restaurant on the island. Our children lit up when the manatee family arrived in the canal and also noticed a couple of dolphins one day. We made a few meals with the new appliances and had to do laundry while here. We found that everything worked perfect. Had a few questions for Ryan and he responded very quickly. We will be coming here again...maybe every year. Awesome location, awesome home and awesome support from the owner. You will appreciate being here. Enjoy your trip as we did.
