Beautiful views!!
This place had absolutely gorgeous views! You are literally just steps away from the water, which was awesome! The beach is very private and quiet which we loved. There was lots of natural wildlife. We had a wonderful time!

Stunning view
We thoroughly enjoyed the location of this house and the gorgeous views. We could hear the ocean while falling asleep from the primary bedroom and at times felt like we were on a cruise ship. We spent a lot of time out on the huge decks. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed which made cooking easy. The layout was perfect for us with plenty of bed options and bathrooms for everyone. Debra was wonderful about communication both before and during our stay and even gave us a much later checkout on the day we were departing. We had a lovely time!

Debbie is a 5 star host! The stay was made easy and location was steps from the beach! As a plus we were able to watch Turtles coming ashore to lay eggs! I cant say enough about Debbie and the property! We will definitely book this again!

Family vacation
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Mrs. Hoffmann home. Even though she had some family emergency she still was easily assessable when any problems occurred. The house was right there on the water and plenty big enough for my whole family of 14. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful family vacation on the beach
The property has the best location ever, the views of the sunrise from the bed rooms are incredible. It felt like we were on a cruise ship, so close were we to the waves. Perfect to relax and play on the beach with the kids. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We'd definitely come back.

Oceanfront getaway
Very easy and smooth communication and check in. Very nice and helpful hosts. Give good tips on the area. The beach was so quiet and peaceful. It was nice to wake up and see the sunrise early in the morning, right from our bed.

This ocean front home was great for our stay. My son graduated from parris island we have a large family it fit 14 of us just fine. We enjoyed sitting on the decks and watching the ocean seeing the dolphins and walking the beach!! It was great!

Great location for a relaxing vacation.
The house was in a great location! We mainly went to relax and do a little surf fishing right behind the house. The house is perfect- it was very clean and comfortable. The fishing behind the house was really active for early September. The owners were very nice and made us feel like we were welcome to be in the house. I would definitely recommend to add the golf cart to your stay- it's nice to ride around the neighborhood and to the small store on the island. will be returning for another stay hopefully.

Great Family Vacation
This house location was is one of the best on this shore line with ease of access to the beach. We had great views. Enjoyed seeing fish jumping, turtles being born, and dolphins swimming on our beach walks. The location provides many comforts of safety. We stayed there in late July and the waves were never higher than my knee and the pull of the current was good for our family with 4 kids under 10. We had great communication with our host. We used the elevator and the golf cart. Both were nice to have access to. The elevator was a great blessing for my father in law. Thank you! I liked some other simple things like pump hand soap ready at each sink. The hot and cold shower available outside was nice. Outdoor beach toy availability was very nice. The numerous indoor ceiling fans are nice along with the covered decking is very nice. The leaf available for the main dining room table was a great benefit to us. We enjoyed fishing right in front of the house and caught something each night. The house was great for my family’s needs. We had a 13, 9, 8, 7 and 8 month old. The streets were safe for bike rides. The house met all my expectations and I was very happy with our vacation.

Horrible Experience
This place is falling apart and is disgusting. The owners should not be renting this out in its current condition, especially because they do not keep up with minor and major maintenance in the house. The pictures are deceptive. When we rented this for a week, I expected the furniture and furnishings to be older, and I didn’t mind that. We entered a house of horrors, including spiders and spider webs all over the inside and outside of the house, green slime nestled under the glass shelves in the fridge, crusty dust covered baseboards and in most corners, spider egg sacs on the ceiling of the porches, all kinds of bugs at the front entryway and beetles, wasps, pinch bugs, you name it, in and out of the house. The housekeeping did surface cleaning, which was fine - no issues there — but it’s clear deep cleaning hasn’t happened for a long time, including hair wrapped around the drain spout and very dusty shelves and other areas. Then the ac went out when we were there. Debbie was very attentive and called an ac company that night. The next day they fixed the issue we thought, but by the following day the ac stopped working again and the second technician came out to tell us that the ducts were completely disintegrated. The ac went up to 90 degrees upstairs, so we all had to cram downstairs. When the technician took out the air filters from the dust covered returns, the filter was so old and covered in dust, you couldn’t see the lines in it anymore. We want a refund.

Beach front getaway!
We truly enjoyed our stay! The house is right on the beach. We were there during king tides so the tides were much more dramatic and it felt like we were in a boat sometimes because the tide came right up to the sand dunes! You can’t beat the view! We saw dolphins everyday and the beach walks are beautiful. The house had everything we needed and more. The owners do live here in the off season I believe so there are many personal items on the upstairs floor, but that didn’t really bother us too much. We had a fantastic stay and the owner was a great communicator and got back to us as soon as possible when we had any questions!

Perfect Vacation
Words can not express how much we enjoyed our vacation. Would recommend to anyone that wants to enjoy a low key relaxing place. The house had everything we needed and then some. The view from both floors was amazing, we watched dolphins everyday. There were 12 of us and we had plenty of room for eating and playing games. We prepared dinner almost every night and the kitchens were equipped with everything we needed. We did venture into Beaufort, which is a cute and quaint little town. As for property management, they were amazing. I spoke with Debbie a few times, not for any issues, she was so kind and very helpful. Thank you Hoffman’s for sharing your home! We are very grateful for the much needed time together as a family.

Right on the Beach
Right on the beach, this house was right on the beach which made it so easy to take our stuff out and the kids could go up to the house without any assistance. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the owner was very helpful with anything we needed. We have been to the beach several times and this was the first time we saw starfish and sand dollars. The dolphins were out everyday morning and evening.

Our favorite vacation spot
This is our second year staying at this property! The owners are amazing and respond in a quick manner. The house is always clean and well equipped. The view is phenomenal. We love watching the dolphins swim by and look at the turtle nests that are along the beach. If you haven’t booked this property, you definitely should. This is my family’s favorite vacation spot. The beach is never crowded and it is so peaceful. Definitely will be coming back!!

Amazing stay!
This was a fantastic property with fantastic owners! I have been renting on vrbo for 20+ years and this was a great experience. The house could not be more on the beach, we were literally almost in the water! So cool! Owners were so kind to quickly respond to any questions or concerns! Definitely would stay here again.

Totally did not understand this property was a residence. Uncomfortable living with and adjusting to owner’s personal items (clothing, food, hygiene items, etc). Not enough space in closets, drawers and fridge, freezer for our items due to owner’s items.

You can't beat the location. We didn't bother with beach chairs as we were close enough to the water, we just used the porch. The layout of the property was great and loved the multiple entry points to the porch. Exactly as described and a very relaxing location. Loved being mere feet from the water at high tide.

Great family vacation
Great family vacation will come back, I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist not wanting to do wrong in other properties so feel like I may have frustrated the owner with my many questions but over all lovely place, our kids and family enjoyed the home and especially the island/resort area. March Getaway
The property has shown was right on the beachfront with awesome views of the sunrise. The beach is not crowded at all and great for walking. The large front porch area is nice for spending time. Loved the sound of the waves and we did spot 3 dolphins. A couple of issues for us were the chairs around the table are not comfortable and in dis-repair so we were not able to have any meals on the porch. Also the kitchen area is not a place to make meals as there is not much counter space for preparation. Debby was very helpful with questions during our stay.

Perfect quiet family getaway
I have nothing but great things to say about this property. The house is cozy but was comfortable for 4 adults and 4 kids. Debbie was very helpful and responsive. And the beach, what a great beach! We saw dolphins every day, and the kids were able to watch as volunteers worked with turtle nests. The waves were calm and the beach was not crowded. The house is close to several nice local restaurants as well as a shop selling fresh fish just across the bridge. We were looking for a quiet week before the kids started school and this place over delivered!

What a location!
The location of this home cannot be beat. We had never stayed in this area before, and stumbled upon this property simply by looking for a home that was on the beach and would fit our group. It was so nice having Space on the beach to actually spread out, and not be worried about another family being super close to you. And since we were right there on the ocean the kids could go back up into the house for lunch without us having to worry about them. The owners really went above and beyond sending us tips on where to pick up fresh cut shrimp in which farm stands to hit up for the best produce. Based on their recommendations we did a Lowcountry boil one evening there at the house and it was one of the best meals I’ve had! The house was stocked with everything we needed, and even had beach chairs for us. We had a great trip!

The best house in this section of beach
The deck is fabulous. The house is clean and comfortable. Some of the furniture is a bit dated but functional. Everything we needed was there for us to use. The basement shower with warm water was great. The kitchen storage and counter space is very limited. The hosts were very responsive with every question we had - great hosts! We loved our stay at this house.
