Beautiful home!
We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home, lots of room for everyone to sleep, love the view!!! We were here for a ski trip; took almost an hour to Schweitzer…we thought it was closer but it definitely was not. Overall, we definitely will come back! Thank you for sharing your home.

We had a great time at the antler cove! It was set up well for a larger group and the views are incredible. We were not sure what to do with the trash and after a week we had quite a bit. It would have been nice to have more information on that.

Excellent! The house is beautiful, as is the view!....and you can enjoy the view from almost all the rooms as well. Everyone loved it - it is spacious and well equipped, including the kitchen. The gas stove and the oven and microwave all work very well; there is a good drip coffee maker. The gas grill is a very good quality 3 burner with a side burner for a pan. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. My guests did note only one bedroom has an (unlocked) closet. My suggestion - a few hooks on the back of each bedroom door- most of us only wanted to hang 1 or 2 things so we did not really need a closet for that - just a couple hooks. A small trash can in each room would help too. It's a bit of a trek into town....so plan well - don't forget the milk or such. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed....all ages of our group - kids to grandparents loved it and would like to go back. It has features that appeal to all - comfortable living room; great TV room with lots of DVDs; big deck with comfortable chairs; awesome fire pit with gorgeous view of river and mountains, awesome dock for sitting or playing and jumping in the river (bring a wet suit...water is chilly!)....2 good (single seater) kayaks for paddling....I can't say enough! Enjoyable riverfront retreat
Our family enjoyed our week at the Antler Lodge. The log home is spacious and private even though there are neighbors on the adjoining lots. We appreciated the granite steps down to water for ease of boarding our kayaks as well as the private dock. The indoor fireplaces and and outdoor fire pit were nice to have as the weather was wet and damp at times. The young kids (and grandpa) had fun on the sandy beach area! We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift. Our family rosaries riverfront at the firepit are lifelong memories! God bless the owners and all who visit the lodge! Things guests should know: - The road noise from across the river is constant during the day. Some might consider this ambient noise, but good to know ahead of booking. - Firewood is not provided (which was disclosed) but sourcing it locally is a challenge except for the lightweight stuff sold at the grocery store -- so bring it from home (we're glad we did). -Fireplace tools are only provided at one fireplace. Bring your own for the firepit. Notes to the owner/property manager: - The area in front of the driveway apron flooded with water 2" deep in spots. In the winter, this would represent an icy hazard. - Was it intentional not to provide the propane gas key for the fireplace starters? - The auto lights in the downstairs bath and laundry area are annoying and not user friendly. Missing Essentials: - drying rack on kitchen counter - tissues in the bathrooms - sharp knives or knife sharpener - clean wine and bubbly glasses (Don't rely on previous guests in this regard.) Thank you!

A lovely home and location for a “girls” getaway.
The home was clean and everything worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking including basic spices. The beds were very comfortable and everyone in our party of four slept well. The weather wasn’t warm, a few hours of sunshine but mostly cloudy, rain, thunder, hail, etc. over four days so we didn’t have much opportunity to enjoy the yard, waterfront or dock but it was beautiful to look at.

Lovely house
This is a lovely property. It is beautifully kept and has a retreat like feel with lovely views. The layout of bedrooms, bathrooms and sitting spaces is very functional. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils and pans. However , there was no coffee provided, so bring your own. And we only found one trash can in the whole downstairs which is unhandy. Definitely would book again. It is very spacious and listing is accurate. It isn't really a great house for small children or the elderly.The bedrooms are all upstairs and the stairway is large, high steps and high handrail. Be aware it is a ways out of town and the neighborhood is kinda sketchy looking. But when you are at the property, you don't notice the neighborhood and the peacefulness of the river location and the house makes it worth it.

Challenging internet and TV connection
Incredibly gorgeous house and property. Our only challenge was related to internet and TV. We came here to work / play for a couple weeks. The listing now shows it, but the internet connection is very spotty. This was not on the listing when we rented. TV connection goes in and out also.

Great Stay!

House worked great for 3 families of 4. We all had our own bedrooms & bathrooms and overall layout was great for multiple families. Outside was great, water plenty deep off dock for jumping and docking boat. Perfect spot for a summer week getaway

Great house , very clean , the view is breathtaking. Property manager responded to my call promptly when the power went out in the whole neighborhood and checked on us once power is back to make sure we are fine. We had a great time in this property. Also we enjoyed kayaking.
