Rhonda was a lovely host. The place is decorated in such a unique way and very clean. The room wasn't huge but it was all the space we needed for our quick stay. We were very happy :)

I stayed at the Harbinson House for a few nights while I was in town for some concerts. The property was lovely, and the owner was an absolute delight, very friendly and told me a lot about the house, the Harbinsons, and the area. I stayed in the Alice in Wonderland room which was magical, the decor all around the house too was incredible and very eclectic. The bathroom was awesome too, shower was great, the provided toiletries felt luxurious, and I'm a bigger girl so it was a plus that there were bigger bath towels. Definitely would consider staying here again if I'm ever back in the area.

I enjoyed staying there. My hostess was communicative with easy instructions. She has unique decorations in the house with comfortable accommodations and extra amenities. Would stay there again for sure.

Alice Through the Looking Glass
Rhonda's place is exquisite. The details in the Alice in Wonderland room were incredible. I needed something far removed from a standard chain hotel. I needed peace and quiet. It was perfect. I grew up in Sacramento, and the house is in one of my favorite neighborhoods, walking distance to food. I loved it!!!

Rhonda was greeting us when we arrived. showing us how to proper using the locks and around the property. Amazing Halloween decoration is up and matching perfectly with the property and feels. She was showing us the Alice the wonderland's room too before the other party arrives. I can't wait to go back and experience more of the place with family.

WOW... what a wonderful place, and stay! The thoughtfulness and creativity that went into the Harbinson House is truly remarkable. The host was super accomodating the communication was top shelf. I'd launch into some Alice In Wonderland quotes, but will leave it to you to experience those during your stay. Can hardly wait to return, and this time with my wife, Alice!!!

Perfect Couples Retreat
Easy check in and very clean room. Perfect couple night in just outside of downtown. We will definitely be back.

Nice mid-priced option for us, between hotels $400 downtown and $125-150 along the freeway NW of downtown. You get a room in an authentic 1912 home (like our own) full of period bits. A pleasant walk through nice neighborhoods to get to museums, Capital etc

I sincerely apologize for this Julie, I had no idea this guest would act in such a manner. He had good reviews on Airbnb so I had no idea. I am now working with Airbnb to resolve several issues involving him. I am personally embarrassed and hope something like this doesn’t happen again.

This is a hidden treasure!
Room was cozy, the bed was soft and warm had the tv set up so we could watch movies as needed, and absolutely loved the host! She was so friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. There’s a lot of places to eat at which is for us walking distance or just grab an Uber for cheap to get to where you want to be. Highly recommend this place!

Overall great experience. The weather was really bad the night we stayed and the power went out while we were out in Sacramento. The owner stayed up for us and even had candles ready for when we returned to the house. Top notch service and great stay.
