You'll have everything you need for a comfortable stay in this one bedroom cottage with an additional sleep sofa. Boasting a fully equipped kitchen with modern finishes and appliances, as well as a cozy living space. Kitchen bar seating is available or step out onto the deck to enjoy the wooded views and spacious yard while you grilling up your favorite meal on the gas grill.

The fire pit is a perfect spot to relax after a long day of exploring and don't forget to bring you four legged friend as Bluebird Lookout is pet friendly!

Pets: This home and property are very dog friendly, and guests are welcome to bring their "best friends" with them. There is a non-refundable Pet Fee of $130 with a limit of 2 dogs per booking party.

Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Very private and very clean property. We encountered a small maintenence issue that was quickly addressed. The gentleman that came out was very prompt and friendly. The property iteself was super comfortable. If you like cooking the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. One thing that would have been nice is a full length mirror, which is a very minor thing. We will be looking for a reason to come back soon.

Perfect little place!

The property was easy to reach and the location was perfect for us. We visited the nearby small towns which were great. We made an easy day trip to Asheville, though we could have gone multiple places because of the location. The cabin was clean and well appointed. It’s on a septic system and the host generously provided plenty of septic safe toilet paper, soaps, and laundry pods. This was a relief as we would never want to damage by using unsafe products. The fact that it’s pet friendly is a huge bonus for us. The cabin was exactly as advertised and it was very clean and nicely appointed. We will definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

Camping in the woods

We arrived during daylight and the property was beautiful. You had the best of both worlds camping in the woods, but still 50 yards from the city.The cabin was small, but just as described. Was very easy to get comfortable. The cabin was also stocked with every incidental that you might have wished you brought, but forgot..The management group was very communicative and welcomed any comments or problems during the entire stay.If I had to find something bad to say, it would be the shower. It was virtually impossible to rinse your lower extremities. I would suggest they install a handheld sprayer to help with that issue other than that everything was as described and beautiful.Warning; if you’re afraid of the dark, don’t stay here at night. Lol.

Peace and tranquility

Bluebird Cottage was ready for us upon arrival and the check in/check out processes through the apps were clear and easy to follow. The cottage was clean and well appointed for our 2 week stay. We ate most meals at "home" and were able to cook about anything. We did not use the grill but the stovetop and oven worked great. The king bed was very comfortable and the climate control (we used heat for our Jan/Feb visit) was easy to control and constant. We had plenty of hot water for showers, the dishwasher, and for doing laundry after biking and volunteering for post Helene clean up. Great wifi, the televisions in both living room and bedroom worked great and we used our Prime account for movie watching. We didn't use the fire pit but did enjoy the sun on the deck and porch and loved sitting on the porch during a gentle rainstorm. There is a short trail through the woods. We didn't have any noise from neighbors. Spindale was a sweet little community. We played a little pickleball on the tennis/pickleball courts behind the rec center, biked and walked on the Thermal Belt Rail trail which was a fairly flat ride. The coffee and smoothies at Caffeine were great, the food at Rock Steady, the Jaimacan portion in the same building was good. We ate at Barleys Taproom two times and highly recommend the soup as well as the pizza. The soup and pizza lunch combo is extremely generous and tasty! An hour from Ashville and less to the Tryon area.

A Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Dixie Grand

This cabin was perfect for our trip. We were just a short distance from the trap shoot club plus not too far from Asheville, Charlotte, Spartanburg and hiking! We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and condition! Just very nice! Dog loved the woods! I think she is disappointed to be home, and we enjoyed the fire pit almost nightly. We are planning to return next year.

Everything thing you need!

This is a great property with many amenities to ensure an enjoyable stay. The only drawback (for us 70+ seniors) is the slope of the property from the road to the house. It was difficult to load and unload the car andopen and close the gate. Once inside,the cottage was perfect ….

I loved this cute, quiet place to stay during my horse show week at Tryon. I wasnt there much, but it was very comfortable when I was. Very straightforward instructions for check in and check out as well.
