Rustic studio country cabin w/shared pool, firepit, & outdoor kitchen

The space and property:
Located on our 4.26acre homestead. This darling rustic cabin has a queen size bed and is perfect for 2 guests. Kitchen area with fridge/freezer, microwave and an electric skillet make it possible to prepare a homecooked meal. Or bring your favorite meal to grill in the outdoor kitchen area. equipped with a SS grill, sink, and ice maker. Walk-in shower in the bathroom, and a quaint living area for relaxing. Enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite beverage inside with the "cowboy" coffee table, from the back deck or the covered front porch, while watching wildlife and the amazing sunrise, and take in the sounds of the country.

Take a stroll down the 1/4mile driveway and on to a quiet paved road.

The 465sq ft guesthouse is located approximately 75ft from the main house and offers ample privacy. If you're looking to escape the city and spend a few days in the country, this is your place. No neighbors, wildlife galore, swimming, relaxing, sitting by a fire on cool evenings, it's beautiful.


When the weather gets warm the saltwater pool will surely cool you off! Relax poolside during the day and stargaze fireside at night. Spend quite time inside, watching a movie or reading a good book. Play outdoor games or turn on a blue-tooth speaker and dance under the stars on the lighted dancefloor.


The entrance gate will remain open for the duration of your stay. Parking is designated by the sidewalk. You will receive a code for the front door prior to check-in.

Safety Rules:
We have a strict "NO GLASS" policy for the pool and all outdoor hard surface areas. The kitchen is stocked with plastic glassware. Please pour beverages from glass into plastic glassware or bring it in cans.

There is no lifeguard on duty. Pool areas are slippery. Please wear non-slip footwear and don't run. There is absolutely NO diving allowed. The pool is a sports pool and is not deep enough for diving. Please don't swim if you are intoxicated.

Security cameras are in use in the public outdoor areas.

Snows BBQ in Lexington 6 miles- Only open Saturday, this place in legendary. Be prepared to arrive hours before opening!
Southside Market and Meyer's Smokehouse BBQ are both located 15 miles away in Elgin and won't have the wait time.
Mom and Dad's Icehouse in Lexington 6 miles- Play pool inside or spend some time in the cool courtyard out back.
Historic Coupland Dancehall 25 miles and the Cotton Country Club 39 miles, both serve up some of the best live country music around.
Is Renaissance more your style? Sherwood Forest Faire is a mere 30minute drive and hosts a medieval festival, weekends in March and April.
Spend a day in Round Top at the famous Antiques Fair and stop by The Stone Cellar & Round Top Dance Hall for a beverage and live music.
Bastrop, Buescher, and Lake Somerville state parks are all with 30 miles and offer fishing, hiking, canoeing.
There are 6 golf courses 15-30 miles from the guesthouse.
