one night stay
Very nice little cottage, walking distance to water, nice neighborhood tavern "LuLu's on the Lake" Making a good recovery from recent tornado-neighbors helping neighbors! I would stay here again!

A bit more rustic than I expected
We checked in and the automatic lock was not functioning. I called Wesley and he picked up right away. He told me that he would not be able to get to it until the following day. It was loud so that was. disappointing. He did share another way to get in though. The house is not well-maintained and is very small. The neighborhood is quiet but run down and not close to anything to do. We ended up not staying the night as my cousin has a house close by. I would pay more and stay closer to the lake. Wesley was great about responding to my questions. If you are just looking for a place to crash, this is it but not much beyond that.

Indian Lake Cottage
The property was as advertised and anticipated. Clean and the propane grill, propane lava rock table and fire pit were great! It was close to the lake, shops and restaurants and perfect for pour quick trip to the lake to explore the area, boat ride and do some fishing. Indian Lake is a great place to visit and vacation - we vacationed there years back in the 1970's and 1980's when O'Connors Landing with the cottages and Lodge was the place to go - miss it but still an awesome place!

The perfect home base
I had business in town and the Little Bear Cottage was the perfect home base for me. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed to make a nice meal and relax after a long day. The owners were great to work with and check in and out was easy and there were no issues with anything at the property. I highly recommend Little Bear Cottage for any get away.

New Year's Eve 2022
Nice little cabin-type of place to bring in the new year with your significant other. Had a minor set back due to some severe weather conditions earlier in the week, but the host did everything to remedy the problem and ensure we had a good stay. Excellent communication on their end and and all around 5 star experience. Highly recommend.

Cute Clean
Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. Great that they provided water and extra toilet paper along with snack bags of chips. A few throw pillows and a throw blanket need replaced and the lounge chair wasn’t comfortable enough to sit in but there were only 2 of us so we didn’t need it. The fire table was really cool and there is a grill you can use for no extra charge (some places charge). Oh and they had plenty of coffee and several creamer choices (sugar needs replaced). Over all it was a great stay.

Annual trip to Indian Lake!
As always, it was a great time at Indian Lake. I have to give Wesley 5 stars because he went ABOVE & BEYOND! We arrived to check in and discovered the house hadn’t been cleaned. The cleaning lady was MIA. Wesley quickly responded & immediately dropped everything to drive an hour and cleaned the property himself top to bottom! He then gave us a generous gift card to our favorite restaurant, the Cranberry! After what started out as a stressful evening, we were able to sleep well. The house was perfect for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children) and had a great yard including a fire pit.

Get away
This property is exactly as pictured. Close to Indian lake and tons of hiking trails. It's super clean and very homey. It's kitchen is well appointed and easy to work in. We had an excellent stay, and look forward to returning.

Enjoyed all the amenities! A bit small for 25 days but was manageable! Perfect for 2 for long weekend or 1 week! Loved that we could have our yorkies and great yard for family day visits with fire pit and deck! Hosts were perfect!!! Thanks guys!

4th of July Excursion
THe house was very clean and just what we were looking for. The neighborhood was quiet and we spent sometime outside on the deck drinking coffee. The weather was a little cool and we really enjoyed that having come up from Texas. A good experience.

Weekend getaway with best friend!
My friend and I needed a much deserved getaway from family after surviving the pandemic quarantine. We had a wonderful time relaxing, chatting and catching up indoors and outdoors. Thank you for this quaint oasis in middle Ohio, close for anyone to get to! Fantastic design and decor inside and out!

Perfect for our overnight stay!
This house was perfect for our overnight stay on Indian Lake. The house was easy to find and set right within driving distance to everything we visited. It was the perfect size for me, my sister and my mom. The beds were comfortable and the house was very tidy. I’d stay here again and hopefully enjoy the deck a bit more.

Great little hidden gem!
Super cute, clean and cozy cottage with convenient location to the boat launch! Melissa was great to deal with! Awesome for a couples but with no doors on the bedrooms could be a bit awkward for multiple couples/families. Overall a great experience!

“Weekend getaway” Everything at the Cozy Cottage was exactly as described and expected.
Good location in quite neighborhood close to Indian Lake. This was a perfect landing spot for the activities we had planned on the lake. Truly enjoyed being able to have our 2 dogs with us, we were all very comfortable. Thank You, Todd, Stephanie, Nola and Peach.

Great getaway spot
This little house was awesome! First let me tell you the home owners were awesome. They knew we were coming up for our anniversary and the had flowers and chocolates and champagne there waiting. The house is perfect for just a little weekend getaway. We had no issues. We brought our little doggie with us and he loved being there with us. Yes it’s smaller but it’s lake life! We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and walking up to the lake. We made dinner at the house and didn’t have to worry about nothing cause they had everything there. I would definitely stay here again! Very clean and nice place!

Cute little house with huge charm
From the moment we booked this house at the last minute, the extra touches started! Local suggestions, fresh tomatoes, dog treats/toys, flares for the annual Ring of Fire, fresh flowers, dog poo bags, bottled water, outdoor Labor Day decor and fresh baked cookies!!! Besides these extras, other things we enjoyed about the house include: the propane table on the porch, Bluetooth speakers, and all the necessary items! We found the location suitable for our needs, as we drove to the lake daily. It was also close to many places including a great coffee shop, donut shop, and many other establishments. The only thing that surprised us was the water. I believe it was well water and had an odor and odd color that we were not expecting. Also every time we turned the Bathroom exhaust fan on, debris fell from it (maybe insulation?) onto the sink and floor. Despite these items we believe the house was as described. (We did not deem it necessary to contact the owner on these issues when we were there, bc the issues were minor to us) We enjoyed the evenings there and were happy we could take our dog. The house is well stocked with necessary items, the wall unit a/c worked great. The bedrooms had no doors which was not a problem for us, but might be if traveling with others. I cannot say enough about the decor of this cute little house! Every detail was thought of, and it looked fabulous!

Thank you so much for your review and feedback! I’m sorry about the bathroom vent, we just had it installed and yes it looks like it was insulation that came out of the roof. Also, we do have well water at the cottage but your review has prompted us to look into a softener system to help guest enjoy their stay more. I’m so glad you enjoyed the extra touches and the cozy cottage!!
