I recently returned to Bahia Principe for the second time in two years and was impressed by the vibrant energy and diverse offerings. The resort has made noticeable improvements, especially in service. The friendly staff work hard and deserve recognition. The Jamaican food is delicious, though other cuisines could be more consistent. The beach, with its clean, white sand, is beautiful, albeit a bit far from the main resort area. We tipped everywhere, though we noticed many others don’t. Overall, it's a fantastic place for a Jamaican getaway.

I did like the gym and courtesy n respect the gentlemen in gym everyday I was there. I did not like the attitude I got when I ask the girl at check in, getting service for meals the ladies act like you were bothering them. At the desk you need management visible because the female staff have attitudes. I’ve been to Jamaica 7 times the first resort I stay at and the courtesy n respect was not there. Every encounter from check in, asking a question for restaurants, ask for cranberry juice or tea or even just asking for help the women gave wrong directions or just ignored us. It was 4 ladies on this trip and we all notice the change in staff. I will never come back to this resort again I will go back to Eden Bay resort better service

Just because you reserve double beds doesn't mean you're going to get them. This is unacceptable. This was included in my reservations so I don't understand why I wasn't accommodated. A roll-away bed is not being accommodated. I didn't pay 1100.00 on a trip to sleep in a roll-away bed. How is this VIP treatment?

I have no idea how to begin this review. Because it was such an amazing experience.I'm literally sitting in my living room trying to figure out where to start. Because I don't want to leave anything out. Let's start by saying from the time I landed in montego Bay Jamaica airport everything was exactly as I wanted it to be. My transportation was waiting for me at the airport. My driver was very professional and welcoming. Upon arriving at the hotel, I have to say I was in awwwwwww of the atmosphere of the Bahia Principe Luxury Hotel in Runaway Bay . It was beautiful more beautiful in person than the pictures on the internet. I was so excited and very please not just me, but also my son. Upon checking in I had a slight situation with my wristband and in all honesty,this is the first time I was okay with having an issue ,Because I wouldn't have had the opportunity to meet such wonderful people Shanieka Burrell.Amoy Black and Brianna,Shannon Blackwood.Petagaye Williams These ladies were so nice and considerate to the issue I was having. I was amazed at how their customer service skills were exceptionally good but more importantly genuine. And that's the main reason why I'm taking the time to write this review is Because they're not just workers at your hotel, they're definitely an asset to your company. They went above and beyond to reassure me that the issue would be taken care of and it was.They were so apologetic for the situation at hand and I was very pleased.

Is a nice hotel. Some restaurants a la carte are not so good. The buffets are very ok, with vegetarian options and pasta station for dinner. The entertainment group is nice and friendly. Some servers need more training. The beach areas all the way at the end of the properties, are beautiful, with bars, grilled food area and restrooms. Overall, we had a relax stay, just what we needed.

So many things to do. One thing that set this resort apart for me is that the actual resort offers Scuba diving, not to be confused with snorkeling(it is an additional cost but worth it), which I did not find at many of the other resorts. I also loved that everybody that was working there would go out of their way to greet you and were always very friendly or helpful!

This was our second annual wedding anniversary trip and our second time staying in this resort. The first time was immaculate. The second time the rooms smell like a lot of mold everything is patched up was molded. The rooms was almost unlivable. We spent most of our time out of the hotel or on the balcony because you could barely breathe inside the hotel room. The minibar, which on the site says the stock daily every time we called they had a different excuse, saying the minibar only includes solar and water, no beer or liquor, which was in there the first time which rocked every day last year. The food was terrible all of it. We paid extra money for the moonlight dinner on the beach for our anniversary, which was on May 12 it was supposed to be a celebration. The steak was overcooked the everything before the steak was cold. I don’t know if it was supposed to be served cold but everything was cold and we had to pay $200 for this event as well as pay additional hundred dollars for some cheap Moscato. My husband was very disappointed and not wanting to stay here again. I never got the happy anniversary banner on my door like I did last year and asked him about it and they stated that don’t worry everything will be set up very nice. Nothing never happened. The only good thing was the excursions in which we were harrassed into because people there did much more and paid much less for just myself and husband we paid over $600 however we did enjoy that part. our 23 anniversary

Everything was at superlative , excepting one thing that I am not sure if it's property fault or not . One day , I booked a scuba day trip with one on the company that operate on one of their beach . The " scuba day trip" was in fact a half hour snorkeling trip and a stop to a beach with a small restaurant . It's false advertising ( the name of the boat/company is Scubaquatic )

I didn't like the first room I was given plus the AC wasn't working at the time I got there. I had to pay USD$50 to get a better room with AC. While waiting the room no one offer me a drink. When I finally got the room to the room the cleaning lady was still getting it ready. The rep who escort me to the room was very nice. I was not given the benefit of a late checkout I wanted to checkout at around 4pm due to my pickup but was only allowed till 1pm. My previous experience at this resort was much better than this time. I think the staff can put more effort in giving better service.

ROACH INFESTATION - Beware!!! Paid for an upgrade to the highest tier "penthouse suite." Roach crawling on our wall in the suite. Roaches in the hallway on the floor where our suite was located. Roach in the Oriental Takara restaurant. No sense of urgency by the staff. Worst vacation ever!!!

Didn’t have properly functioning water throughout our stay. Scalding hot with no cold water made it nearly impossible to shower, and no water at all (hot or cold) to use the faucets or flush the toilet for 2 days! Despite multiple reports to staff nothing was done to fix this during our stay. Very disappointing and would not return because of this.
