«I have stayed in this lovely hostel on and off since it first opened years ago. In fact, I used to enjoy having the female dorm to myself in the beginning until it was well known. Always a great, warm, friendly experience and very fond memories of the staff back then. It still remains the same and I enjoyed a one night stay here before heading on to Connemara. «Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase. ...
