Set in the growing town of Rolleston and is only 20 minutes to the centre of Christchurch once on the new Motorway. Rolleston has 2 Supermarkets, a variety of shops and plenty of eateries.
The 'Shepherd's Cottage' is a charming fully furnished 20 year old cottage that is suitable for older people, couples and families whose children are aged 11 upwards only.(It is not suitable for children who are younger than this).

The charge of $200 per night is for the first 2 guests. There is a $50 charge per night for each extra guest. Please make sure you enter the number of guests staying when you book. Please let us know if the accommodation booked is for a couple or 2 singles.

This delightful cottage is new but old as it was built in part using rimu salvaged from the builder's grandfather's cottage. It has been redecorated giving a nod to the late 1890's, the time when the grandfather's original cottage was built.
It was previously the family holiday home in Queenstown but was transported to Rolleston in 2020 and sited in its own section and is now set up again as a holiday home. It is fully fenced and has a colourful cottage garden. This renovated and refurbished cottage is a relaxing place to stay for a night or two while touring the South Island , or stay a bit longer and enjoy a vacation locally. It is a great base from which to visit Canterbury's attractions. The railcar to the West Coast town of Greymouth can be caught from the Rolleston Railway station for a scenic day out.

Are you older? You will enjoy the added features such as the new lounge furniture that has been tailor made to a comfortable height. The bathroom has easy access and a new higher toilet and the shallow steps to the cottage provide easy access with a handrail for safety.
