  • Welcome to Rognes, 20 minutes from Aix en Provence and Lourmarin, less than an hour from the beaches of Carry le Rouet and Sausset les Pins. An ideal location to enjoy Provence and its many resources. The 3700 m2 garden offers shaded areas suitable for siesta or reading or sunny areas around the swimming pool. A large terrace with outdoor large table overlooks the garden and offers an unobstructed view of the surroundings. Quiet environment with a major asset: accessibility on foot to shops and the village.
    Perfectly designed for 8 people (possibility of adding 1 or 2 beds), the villa Les Cypres offers a very pretty setting with functional equipment to guarantee you a pleasant stay in our beautiful region.

    Villa les Cypres is located at the foot of pretty hills where you can go hiking. At the gates of the Luberon, a region known for its magnificent Provençal villages such as Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Gordes and Roussillon but also many other less touristy and more authentic ones that we will be happy to tell you about. Less than an hour away, you can visit the pretty seaside town of Cassis and its famous Calanques, the Camargue, the Alpilles and its olive groves, the Colorado Provençal, Avignon and the Palais des Papes and of course the very beautiful city ​​of Aix-en Provence which is only 20 minutes from the house!

    Linens, towels and bath sheets are provided. The beds are made up just before your arrival. You will find cosmetic items in the bathrooms and some cold drinks in the fridge.

Great location, huge house.

Overall we had a great stay at Villa Des Cyprès. The location is great, you are right in the village of Rognes which is really handy. The garden is great, there was a trampoline for kids as well as swings which was a great surprise. The pool was cleaned and maintained biweekly by the pool man. The kitchen is very well equipped. Overall the property is huge which has been great when having family staying over for couple of nights (but probably too big for a family of 4). Downside with being that big is having young children - as 3 of the bedrooms are on the other side of the house and you wouldn’t be able to hear them cry from the 1st bedroom/outside living space. Unfortunately beds aren’t very comfortable and overall house could do with some modernisation (very much feel like you’re in your grandmother’s house). But we still had a great stay and the house worked well for our holiday.

10/10 – Utmerket

Great house, lovely garden & pool, charming village, close to attractions of Provence

We had a fantastic stay for 2 weeks, Fabien is responsive kind and friendly. The house is large and looks as though it was a well-loved family home in the recent past. Some furniture is quite old and charming, there are signs of some ongoing work to modernise some fixtures. Although without aircon, exterior shutters keep the house shaded and and cool during the day, and plenty of doors and windows to open when it is cooler morning and evening. With fans provided we were able to stay comfortable when the weather was extremely hot - the swimming pool helps too. There is plenty of space inside and outside. The long driveway makes the house and garden seem pleasantly secluded. Rognes is charming, the centre is just a couple of minutes walk with great restaurants, weekly market and summer evening market. With a hire car it was easy to get to Aix, Arles, Avignon and local hill villages. We were a group of 5 adults, everyone thought it was a wonderful place to stay, we would visit again.

Au coeur du village

Idéalement située a quelques minutes à pied du coeur du village de Rognes: l'atout majeur de cette maison de famille. Idéal pour faire de petites courses (délicieuse boulangerie!), profiter du petit marché, boire des verres ou diner. La maison est spacieuse mais dans son jus. Elle dispose d'une grand cuisine mais d'uniquement deux salles de bain dont une attenante à une chambre: un peu juste pour un grand groupe. Pour ce qui est de l'extérieur, très grand jardin -moyennement entretenu- aux sublimes cyprès et grande piscine. Nous sommes un groupe d'amis et partons très souvent en vacances ensemble, nous avons globalement passé un bon séjour, l'accessibilité au village à pied y a beaucoup contribué, mais nous avons manqué d'espaces de vie en intérieur comme en extérieur où pouvoir profiter tous ensemble. Fabien et Cédric de Serenity Rentals ont été très disponibles. La maison a un immense potentiel mais de nombreuses améliorations sont nécessaires pour rendre idéal le séjour.
