I have never stayed in such a clean, well equipped house. It was absolutely the best choice for our stay in the area. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed some great family time. Brian is a great host. We'll be back!

Wonderful cozy getaway. Right on beautiful lake. Has all the comforts of home needed. 4 season room. Extra portable heaters or cooling devices if desired. Blankets. Games. Kitchen and bathroom supplies. Every door was labeled which was great so you know where things are and also where to put them back

Gorgeous location! The owner was very responsive and accommodating throughout our time and handled any concerns promptly. While it’s an older home, some of the downstairs was remodeled and beautifully done, especially the sunroom! The home was very well stocked for our 10 day stay. The beds were very comfortable. Our only feedback to the owner was that the upstairs loft with the queen bed is not a true 3rd bedroom so there was no privacy for that area. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Fantastic spot for a large group
Very happy and satisfied with the property, amenities, communication with the owner, and the location. Very clean and well stocked supplies, plenty of space for my 7 person group, beds and sleeping areas aplenty. We mostly stayed inside for our duration (by choice) and the group definitely did not feel claustrophobic or needed to get out. 5 min drive to a grocery store, several location well-known establishments, and just a short drive to GR or Rockford proper. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great location and a great property any time of the year.

Our daughter got married in Grand Rapids
Our daughter got married in Grand Rapids and she and her bridesmaids were all able to stay with us at the house. It was a great setting for her and bridesmaids to get ready in the morning of her wedding. Beautiful spot on the lake.

Bachelorette on the Water
We had the best time at this adorable house on the lake for our bachelorette trip. Plenty of room for our group to spread out, but also spend time together. Sleep accommodations all over the house, gorgeous view. Quiet neighborhood. We loved this space, thank you Brian!

Lovely lakeside property!

Wedding Weekend
Communication was fantastic. We got two of his Lakehouses for my family to stay for our wedding. It was a great place for everyone to spend time together and relax before and after the wedding. The houses are clean, and the view is beautiful. I really loved that everything was labeled, so it was easy to find anything we needed. I would highly recommend this place and any of his other properties to anyone.

Nice place. Has everything you need. REALLY appreciated how easy it was to find everything, labels are everywhere and it made life soooo much easier. Close to food options if you don’t want to cook. Nice beach area, we also rented the boat which I would recommend. Shallow water, great for kids. Owner was easy to work with and very nice. Pillows were SUPER soft and comfortable. Really nothing negative to say except we had some rainy weather which is no one’s fault but Mother Nature!

Bachelors Trip
The property was very well kept. The host was kind and very responsive. All the sleeping arrangements were nice and comfortable. We rented the boat for our stay and it was super nice worked perfectly! The house was close enough to Grand Rapids but just far enough away to make it perfect. The atmosphere around the lake community was a super relaxed, quiet. The home was the perfect getaway lakehouse on beautiful Silver Lake that we will definitly return to if we have the opportunity in the future!

We had a wonderful time at the Lake House
From the day we made the reservation to the day we left. Brian was there to answer all of our questions. We have a son in a wheelchair, so even though the house was listed as being accessible, we had concerns about how accessible it really was. Brian supplied us with measurements to make sure it would be manageable. The house was clean and comfortable. The spring feed lake was so clear and the fishing was great. My son caught a 14” bass, some sunfish and perch. My husband was told there are pike and walleye in the lake. Even for the 2 days when the weather wasn’t great, there were board games, video games and lots of premium channels available. We watched movies and the new fireplace kept the room warm & cozy. The kitchen was recently renovated and Brian has plans for more renovations to make it even more accessible. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice lake house in a really nice area. The house has everything you need and is well equipped. House could though need an upgrade, especially 2nd floor. We had a really nice week at the lake house, but thought it was a bit overpriced compared to the standard.

Fantastic Place
Super clean property. This is the cleanest place we've ever stayed at, and we've been renting thru VRBO for many years. Plenty of room upstairs and on the main level for a lot of people. The furniture and the beds are very, very comfortable. The TV works great and the wifi is very fast. Cell phone reception is excellent. Brian is great to work with and extremely responsive. Brian has this place stocked with everything you could possibly need. Don't need to bring any spices either. The view of the lake is excellent, and it's a beautiful lake. The neighborhood is quiet, and the people are friendly. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a family weekend!
We were looking for a place to stay while we went skiing, and found this gem! The area is way more amazing than I could have imagined. We found wonderful restaurants, shopping, and skiing all within minutes of the rental. We would love to come back in the summer to use the beach! Highly recommend. Only heads up would be that there is no tub... But if you can live without that, you'll be all set!

Silver Lake happiness
A wonderful rental property. I've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but none as fully and thoughtfully equipped as this Silver Lake cottage. Although we stayed in December, & the weather was chilly, we stayed perfectly warm & cozy in this home. We had traveled from North Carolina & Minnesota, to Grand Rapids/Ada for a wedding & found this to be a great location. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped & I would love to stay again in warm weather to take advantage of all Silver Lake has to offer. Brian was a wonderful host.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving here and Brian’s place is truly a home away from home! Need a Large serving dishes? Extension cord? Twine? He has it! The random items you may need to have a nice dinner with family, just look and it’s likely he has it. In fact other family is looking to book this home too, that’s how much we all enjoyed it. But wait, there’s also a adjustable height desk with an awesome view in case you have to do some work too. Beds are comfortable, and place is clean and in a nice neighborhood.

Excellent for our reason to stay
We stayed at both of Brian's cabins for the weekend of our wedding. There was enough room for everyone in our wedding party to get together in the bigger cabin until it was time to split again (n8ght before the wedding). Places were clean, didn't get to utilize the lake due to time of the year. But would stay again in warmer weather. Brian communicated very well, no issues the whole time. Thanks again brian!

Perfect place to rest in-between bike races!
We were in town for the weekend for our kids' mountain bike races at Merrell Trail. This house was the perfect place for us to relax! It was so cozy and comfortable for all of us! We look forward to renting again next year if we have a race at Merrell again!

Perfect Little Lake House
We loved this home and this location. We chose it for proximity to family but ended up appreciating it for so many other reasons. It is supper well equipped with everything from beach towels to paddle boards. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake, watching sunrises over the water, and making s'mores around the fire by the beach. We will definitely consider returning.

Labor day weekend
This facility has a beautiful sunroom we played board games and ate meals in I love the private beach and dock. They provided the life jackets and all the water toys it was so nice they thought of almost everything we bought a pitcher and left it there for the next group who may want to make tea or anything but seasoning, cooking spray beach towels were all provided. The boat was very nice the grandparents who are in their 80’s were able to very easily walk the pier and get into the boat for a drive around the lake. It was a wonderful holiday weekend! Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Wonderful Lake Front Retreat
We stayed for a nephews wedding in Grand Rapids. This is a nice and relaxing place - clean, very well stocked with about anything you'd need and very comfortable. The high table was great, big enough for all to eat together and play games on. We really enjoyed the waterfront/beach area and had a great time playing corn hole and visiting there. Plenty of chairs and room outside for everyone to be relaxed and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thanks Brian!

Well appointed, sparkling clean, great views
Our family of 5 adults had a very relaxing Easter weekend at Brian's home on Silver Lake. The kitchen was nice to work in, the bed comfy, and the view was spectacular. The weather was cold, so we weren't able to use the outdoor amenities, but we were able to enjoy the view from the comforts inside. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home and hope to return in better weather.

We want to come back!
This is a wonderful rental property. It is CLEAN, comfortable, roomy and well organized. Even the kitchen cupboards were clean and in order. There are plenty of supplies including new white towels. We loved the beach and ALL the water toys, although the weather wasn't the greatest. Indoors we had three separate living/sitting areas which were used and appreciated when it rained. There were immediate answers to all our questions. Brian is a great host. We rented six Vrbo cottages this year and this is the best! Thank-you Brian! Hope to rent again.

Perfect Lake Cottage

PERFECT VACATION HOME
We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The house had everything one could need providing all the little details - toiletries, first aid kit, laundry items, kitchen staples - you name it, it had it! Brian was so wonderful to work with. Any questions we had were answered immediately. And the location is amazing. Walk out your door and you have the lake right in your yard. Truly amazing!
