The Space:

Nestled just a hop, skip, and a jump from the jetty rocks, this cozy spot is a dream for crab wranglers and fish whisperers alike. Imagine waking up strolling a few steps and you are at the water, gorgeous views and wildlife watching. Take a morning stroll in the campground or drive through and stand at the mouth of the jetty and the ocean with views for days! also there is beach access, you’ll need a day pass. Don’t forget to toss that swimwear in your bag, the outdoor deck has a hot tub for guest use! Our home is conveniently located steps away from a grocery, tackle and variety store that caters to sportsman and shoppers alike, full deli & grocery, gifts, ice, bait beer/wine, and good people. They’ve got you covered. The home sits between Garibaldi Bay and Rockaway Beach City Center, just off Highway 101. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or tea, watch the sun rise and gaze at the water from the kitchen. There is a multitude of sea birds to gaze at. Enjoy a glass of wine by the firepit. Have a fish or crab feast outside, we have all the equipment covered, BBQ, Fish Wash Station (you will have to hook it up to water). Large windows off the SE side of the home facing the bay and Jetty create a warm and open feeling while embracing the views! This cute quaint home is cozy, clean and comfortable with amenities making this home a place to stay or for the perfect Coastal getaway! The home is one-level, however you will need to enter and exit the home on a flight of 4-5 stairs. The Main living area has a large comfortable sectional with plenty of seating, it folds out into a full-sized sleeping area for the little one. There is a wood burning fireplace that will heat the house fully, you may need to bring your own wood, as it is not always available at home. There is a plethora of board and card games, puzzles and movies. There is a Smart TV set up for streaming with WIFI. Relax and enjoy an evening catching up on your favorite episodes or snuggle in and read a book while watching the fire on cold rainy days. Gorgeous SE facing views of the bay and jetty, make it a nice place to relax and take in the scenery! During the Spring-Fall months watch the Oregon Scenic Railroad cars go by. The train takes visitors along the oceanfront from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach. Yard, there is a decent sized front yard with some grass that is not fenced. The rest of the home has a walkway around it but not a fenced backyard. There is also a closed-in storage space that houses some outdoor gear. There is a compact kitchen, with amenities such as a small stainless fridge, double oven w/ceramic top make, and microwave provided for those meals cooked inside. The kitchen boasts that coastal vibe and of course you can stand at the sink and look directly at the water VIEWS, may make doing dishes a little more enjoyable! Fully stocked with utensils, cookware, cook pots and dishes. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner seated at the dining table with seating for 5. Both bedrooms feature a Comfortable Queen bed with high quality linens, blankets, and pillows. There is closet space as well as ample dresser drawer space in each of the rooms for storage of guest’s personal items. These bedrooms also have 2 nightstands on either side of each bed and table lamps as well. We also provide a pack-n-play portable play crib for the little ones. Each room has a large window that looks over the greenery surrounding the house, and let’s in nice day lighting. Window shades provide privacy. The bathroom is located just off the hallway by the living room and laundry and features a bathtub/shower combo. It is a compact space but provides guests w/all the necessities. Quality linens, Shampoo, Conditioner, and hairdryer are also provided for your convenience. The home has a spacious storage area off the laundry room area with large windows and houses such amenities as the Fish Wash Station and Crab Cooker, and some other additional items that you may use. You will also find some kids sand toys, and crab cage, and cooler. Just know if you want to crab you must have license. Laundry Room has a full-sized washer & dryer for guest use. We also provide a small amount of laundry soap, linen spray, Iron and ironing board. FREE parking in private driveway for up to 2 vehicles. You must park in the driveway, and on the gravel, there is a small area of gravel to the left of the concrete driveway that belongs to the home but beyond that in the grassy area belongs to the neighbor as services as their driveway. Be courteous and do not block the driveway or the road as it is a public thoroughfare. We do allow up to (2) pre-approved dogs with an additional pet fee of $50 per pet. Unfortunately, we do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. Please be aware that the yard is not fenced. Be sure to let us know that you plan on bringing a pet and to read and understand our Pet Policy before booking with a pet.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home and the storage area off of the laundry room area, for storin your outdoor gear.
The Neighborhood:
Garibaldi and Barview, Oregon is a small fishing village nestled along the bottom of Captain Robert Gray Mountain at the northern end of Tillamook Bay. The home sits within steps from the rocky jetty. You can see Three Graces Rock Formation from the kitchen window. It is a large outcropping of rock that attracts a plethora of bird life.
At the marina, commercial fisherman sling fresh Dungeness crabs, ling cod, rockfish, and even octopus up to the docks. Sport fishermen tell tales at the filet table and local watering holes about record Chinook, tuna and halibut. Kayakers paddle out to spot bald eagles, pigeon guillemots, and purple martins. While gulls circle above, harbor seals surface.
Most visitors come for the fishing, crabbing and clamming, the area is also home to the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad depot and two history museums.
The property is 3 minutes by car from the Garibaldi Marina, and the Barview Jetty Campground Day use area, Rockaway Beach City Center and beach, market, shopping and dining. A smattering of shops and restaurants serve the coastal community that is a top destination for sportspeople and the anti-tourist.
Central to Oregon‘s Tillamook Coast and a quiet base camp for exploring nearby waterways and beach towns from Astoria to Lincoln City. The property is approx 15 min from Tillamook and 10 min to Rockaway Beach.
Getting Around:
A Car is necessary. Everything is convenient to the home including grocery stores and restaurants. If you are from out of state, we suggest flying into PDX and renting a car to make the approx. 1.5 hour drive to the Oregon Coast. 15 min to Tillamook & 10 min to Rockaway Beach
Other Things to Note:
We are happy to share our vacation home with others and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do! We also appreciate when guests treat it like they would their own! There is a complete list of instructions at the home including WI-Fi passwords and check out details.
~Guests have access to the storage area off the laundry room so storing your gear and you may use the items, but please return items, clean grills, wash station and cookers. We do not clean them in between guests, PLEASE leave them clean for others.
~The area is dense and has many visitors during the summer months, please be courteous towards the neighbors and other visitors to the area.
~ We ask that you don’t cook crab in the home but there is a bbq and crab cooker in the storage area.
~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
~ Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
PET FEE: $50 per dog Pet Fee for up to 2 pre-approved dogs.
Please also be aware of our pet policy:
-Pets should not be left unattended at the property inside or outdoors. We do have kennels available on request for an additional fee.
-Please pick up after your pets in outdoor areas immediately.
-Pets are NOT allowed on furnishings or linens, we provide towels for cleaning your pet. Evidence of pets on furnishings or linens will result in additional cleaning fees to guest.
-Pet fee accounts for additional cleaning and normal wear & tear due to hosting pets. Pet fee does NOT cover damage or additional cleaning above and beyond reasonable.
~If you use the hot tub, please follow the hot tub tips. Extra maintenance or damages caused by not following the recommendations are at guests expense.

We do not live on site but are readily available via text, phone, or email. We also have a local property manager available for emergencies.
