The Space:

Enjoy the quiet surroundings at this home with a deck, private laundry room, AC, outdoor beach shower, and a game room, this is an ideal home for a large family or a group of friends traveling the Oregon Coast.



Located less than three miles north of Rockaway Beach, this large beach home in Nedonna Beach is across the street from seven miles of beautiful sand and waves and under 15 miles from Nehalem Bay State Park, Manzanita, and the town of Nehalem.



You'll want to spend a lot of time outside on the second-floor wraparound, which sports a gas grill and patio furniture for cookouts. This is the perfect spot to spend time with the family for a BBQ or to admire a meteor shower while wrapped in blankets.



Enjoy an open-floor great room on the home's second level, with ample natural light, a roaring gas fireplace, and plenty of seating on blue furniture. Check email or play Spotify via WiFi while seated at the dining table or the breakfast bar. The full kitchen, done in white and sand tones, offers white appliances - including a dishwasher for extra convenience - and gadgets like a mixer, a blender, and a coffee grinder. Downstairs on the main floor, guests can get cozy and socialize in a game room/den area. Plump sofas are perfect for snuggling on while watching a movie on the DVD player or through Netflix. Challenge other guests to a Ping-Pong tournament, or catch the weather on cable.



Downstairs, guests will also find a laundry/mud room stocked with all the supplies you need to stay sand-free during your stay.



You'll have no problem enjoying the sand and surf with the beach so close to this Rockaway Beach vacation rental. When you need a shopping fix, head to Rockaway for a funky boardwalk experience and delicious dining. Take advantage of kayak rentals at Nehalem Bay or fishing at Nedonna Pond. And, with Tillamook about 18 miles down the highway, Seaside north about 30 miles, and fun outdoor areas such as Nehalem Bay State Park and Oswald West State Park nearby, you will have plenty of daytrip options.

Such a great house! We had 5 people staying here ranging in age from 5 to 65. It was bigger than I realized and we all agreed would we stay again. There are 2 public access spots to get to the beach in less than 5 mins of a walk. My only suggestion would be to utilize the deck spaces more with a larger outdoor table and maybe some comfy lounge chairs or outdoor couch for watching the sunset. Thanks!

Pictures on website showed beach. House is one block back with beautiful floor to ceiling picture windows...looking out on houses across the street, not the beach. Gas fireplace did not work when we arrived and was not fixed until just before we left.

So so

Great house and location, quiet neighborhood, but listing was not entirely accurate. Fireplace not working, and no fire pit. DVD library was gone. Third floor balcony only had one chair and I don't feel safe dragging another one up there. Sheets and towels are stained and getting old. House needs a good deep clean. Oven and kitchen need cleaning. Shower curtains need to be replaced. Toilet seat in master bath needs to be replaced. Don't feel like I got my money's worth here.

Beach Retreat

Wonderful house for our winter beach retreat. My only complaint was the preset thermostat. I understand why owners feel a need to do this, but I did not appreciate waking up to a house that was 55 degrees! (The basement room was especially cold). You would have to be up at 7:30 to override those settings and I do not vacation with the plan to rise that early. Please reconsider those settings, especially for the winter months! Otherwise, a beautiful home, well cared for, with everything you needed. I will definitely consider using this home again - maybe in the warmer months!

Pre-Christmas Getaway

It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We did have challenges when power went out for 12 hours, but that was due to weather conditions and not because of issues with the rental. We just went to neighboring town to eat and explore and came back to the house when power was restored. We actually had a lot of fun exploring the beach during the high winds - the weather was warm enough to enjoy our time outside, even in the rain. We look forward to doing it again.

View has changed

We loved this house, it was super clean & check in was easy. Lots of space to spread out, there’s an empty lot next door which was perfect for letting the dogs out and a fabulous mudroom downstairs. We had room to park a boat and used the garage to cook all the crab we caught. 3 bathrooms for 3 couples was such a bonus, it was easy to get comfy and not worry about sharing, timing showers, etc. Beach access was a 2 minute walk, the neighbors were friendly, and the street was quiet. Just be aware: a house now sits on the empty lot you see in the pictures, blocking the ocean view. Not a deal breaker but you might be disappointed if you were expecting to see the beach from your window. Overall, a great rental!

Would stay here again

This house has two living areas, which is great if you want some separation of adults and kids! The windows on the beach-side provide lots of natural light. The wrap-around deck was amazing, and the crow's nest allowed us to watch the sunset, and one morning we were up early enough to face the other direction and watch the sunrise over the hillside. Lots of dishes in the kitchen, although the pots and pans could be updated. We couldn't find a pot and lid that fit together. The utensils have seen better days. The coffee pot lid was broken, but we could still hit the cup OK! There are a couple of little places that need repair, but nothing that bothered our stay. The large utility room was a great place to take off our shoes and brush down the dogs. Entry to the beach is basically right across the street. Rockaway is a cute little town with fun things to see and do.
