A peaceful retreat in Rochepaule, in the heart of the lush Ardèche

Located in the green Ardèche region, at an altitude of 750 m, in the hamlet of Legas in Rochepaule. The cottage is situated in a quiet location, in a former barn renovated into a comfortable apartment for up to 4 people. With independent access, you will enjoy a garden opening onto a forest of fir and chestnut trees. Pets are welcome upon prior request. The water comes from a natural spring. This is precious. We therefore ask you to be mindful of your consumption. The gîte is located at the starting point of numerous hikes of all levels, notably the famous GR 430 of the Pilgrims of Saint-Régis, leading to the magnificent basilica of Lalouvesc. On sunny days, enjoy a swim in the lake on the Doux River, located 2 km from the house, in cool and invigorating water. You will find a local artisanal soap factory, "La Savonnerie du Doux," which we will be happy to show you. Many activities are available in the surrounding area. Cleaning fee: €40 per Stay. The accommodation must be left clean and tidy (dishes washed, bins emptied, floors in good condition). If the accommodations are left clean, the cleaning fee will be refunded. Otherwise, the €40 cleaning fee will be retained.
