«Graves mountain lodges is cozy, down to earth and has plenty to do. An area rich in history and natural beauty with none of the commercialization of typical resorts. We loved our cabin stay at wild wind - a refurbished old school house along the river. Very peaceful and had everything you could need. Great location close to Shenandoah and Rapidan River. There are plenty of activities and we loved the farm animals and the ability to hike around the grounds. The only critique would be that the ...

«THIS is a guilty pleasure. Love the location and isolation of this property. They have a couple dining options and great room service.
Most importantly, they’re pet friendly and my “boys”, Louie and Logan are treated like rock stars.
Great walking grounds, and the rooms are fabulous where you just want to stay in and relax. »

«We truely enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The ladies at the reception desk were very sweet and helpful. Our studio apartment was nice, spacious, and well equipped. Pool and exercise room was basic, clean, and well kept. Walking distance from city center.
Breakfast however, was horrible. Very few healthy choices, egg powder products and dry sausage. No fruit or whole grain.
Overall a nice hotel, well worth the price. However, you might want to plan breakfast at one of the cozy nearby cafes. »
