Beautiful! So many amenities! This is your house!

This house is special because there are three floors, each with a full bathroom, a comfortable and roomy living room, and aTV (>56” 4k, and many have soundbars and subwoofers) This gives your party plenty of room to spread out and give each other space (when you need it!).

A few highlights:

We have a fully stocked kitchen, including a slow cooker, waffle maker, blender, Keurig coffee maker, 4-slice toaster, etc., etc., etc.!

Five smart TVs with GoogleTV (NFL Package) and Netflix

Gigabit wifi with high-speed access points around the house (even the dock!)

A Nintendo-switch themed Arcade room, also Foosball and air hockey tables

Two Stand Up Paddle Boards (with conversions to Kayaks) and plenty of life vests

A high-end Napoleon Five Burner Grill

A gas-powered fire pit with plenty of Propane (we keep 10 tanks on the property!)

All Linens and towels are provided and are professionally cleaned.

The location is perfect:

A ten-minute boat ride to the must-see Bridgewater Plaza

Just 7 miles to Food Lion

Boat ramps are 15 minutes away

More about the spaces:

The top floor has a living room, a foosball table, and a toy kitchen area—a hit with our little guests! Kids will love the Arcade console on this level! There is also a Queen Bedroom and a shared full bath, as well as another bedroom with bunk beds.

The middle floor has a roomy, well-equipped kitchen with an eat-in area and a dining room table that seats six. There is a kitchen island that seats two and a bar area that has seating for an additional two. The living room is spacious and comfortable, with views of the lake! There is a second table for dining in the living room area that seats four. On this level is the master suite with a large full bathroom and garden tub. There is also a half-bath near the entrance of the house, making two bathrooms on the main level.

The lower floor is super comfortable and fun. Kids will love to hang out on the big, comfy sofas and play air hockey in the adjacent room. This floor has a 65” TV connected to a soundbar and subwoofer. It also has a Queen bedroom, a shared full bathroom, and access to the patio deck and lake. Another room on this level has two single beds.

Outside

Our cove is peaceful and quiet. Blue Herons fly over and perch on fallen logs and docks. They are beautiful and majestic!

Because our house is tucked near the end of a quiet cove, children can fish from the dock and enjoy swimming and paddle boarding without fear of boats. Blue-gill and Bass fishing is a blast right from our dock!

There are three decks with views of the lake. The top deck has four Adirondack chairs and a gas grill (easy access from the kitchen), a mid-level deck with a gas fire pit and a patio table that seats six, and a party deck above the dock with lounge chairs and a bar table for lunch.

The dock has plenty of room for fishing and swimming and a floater dock for tying up your boat.

Close to marinas by boat and restaurants & grocery stores by car. Look no further, this is your house!

Summer fun at the Lake

The house was as stated in the description on VRBO. We were a generational group with the youngest being almost 4 and the oldest being 74. Each family had their own floor for themselves and their children. Just a note that it is a hike down to the docks for us older folks. It was a challenge but we perservered as there are 77 steps. Sarah Grace was very attentive to my questions and a couple of my concerns. She answered me right back whenever I sent her a message.We're looking forward to going back next summer.

Wonderful Memories Made!

My family had a wonderful stay here! What we loved: * LOCATION! The house is situated in a cove which makes for fun, safe swimming for kids and adults, alike. Also located 10 minutes from Food Lion and other stores, as well as a few local wineries. *ACCESS to two SUP/kayaks. They were such a wonderful asset to our stay! *The king bed in main bedroom is super comfy!! *Third floor game room and sleeping areas for our teenage boys! Priceless!! *Sitting on the back deck with the propane fire pit. Such a nice touch! *The ice cream boat (10:45 a.m. every day!) lol *Well stocked kitchen. What we didn’t love: *the steps- but we knew going into it!! No surprises there, but it is a workout! *we felt like having one or two more Adirondack chairs on the top deck would be good. And that’s it! Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Lots of great memories were made. We will most definitely consider coming back!

Wonderful Place

My family and I stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it. The house was very clean and comfortable. Check-in was a breeze. We took advantage of the kayaks, stand up paddle boards, BBQ and fire pit. We also utilized the surround sound when it was time to get cook. This place fit all our needs. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Two Weeks on the Lake

Fantastic property. Great house with great kitchen, lots of space for adults and teens alike. Great time playing on the lake in the kayak-paddle boards provided. Remember to look for the plethora of inflatable tubes and animals, which were super. Incredibly responsive host. We rented a boat from Bridgewater so we could go tubing and skiing, as well as hit Jake's a few times. Foosball and air-hockey tables kept us busy on the rainy days. Our dog as happy too. A+++

Great house in SML!

This was our first time visiting Smith Mountain Lake and it was amazing!! The house was amazing and perfectly suited our group of 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. The kids really liked the air hockey table as well as the TV areas on each floor. The kayak and SUPs that were provided were really great too. We used them daily in the cove. The communication with the property owner was awesome; she provided so many helpful suggestions on things to do in the area, dining recommendations, etc. The check-in and check-out information was also very detailed and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Lake location is perfect!

Our family spent time swimming and fishing from the dock and brought our boat for water activities such as tubing. We loved having 3 levels to spread out for playing cards and games in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious for prepping meals.

Summer Family Vacation

This home was the perfect setting for our family vacation. 2020 had been a tragic year for us - and we needed a time of relaxation, reflection and renewal. The house is located on a beautiful, wooded, quiet cove. Access to restaurants and amenities not far away by car or boat. The home is well-equipped and comfortable. Sunsets from the dock were especially beautiful! Hope to revisit in the fall.

Beautiful Home

We had a long weekend available to us and decided to spend a few days at Smith Mountain Lake. This house was perfect. We spent our evenings out by the firepit and days on the dock by the lake. Check in was super easy and the host provided plenty of information on the area. If we decide to take another trip to SML, we will definitely book this home again.

Great stay on the lake!

The owner of this property was extremely helpful! From the beginning she was welcoming and gave us lots of information about the area. The house was perfect for what we needed. She was gracious and responded quickly when we needed assistance with our check in. It was so nice having all of the extras like we were at home, it made our stay that much nicer and definitely easier. We felt right at home. There were throw blankets everywhere which is definitely something we appreciated! A beautiful view of the lake, a gorgeous gas fire pit, pretty much anything you need to make a meal in the kitchen! Our teens and young children enjoyed the air hockey table and foosball table a lot. We have already discussed planning a trip again in the warmer months because it’s a central location and we loved it! I cannot say enough nice things about this property!

Fantastic Holiday Retreat

Home was exactly as expected based on the photos and the host was super responsive. Gorgeous location and had everything we needed. One of the most stocked kitchens I have experienced in terms of appliances, gadgets, etc. Check in and out was super easy. Would absolutely stay again!

Space galore

Owner is super awesome to deal with and the property is so spacious. The three separate living spaces make it nice for everyone to have a place to retreat. Not included in the pictures is a dining area with a table that seats 6. This is in addition to the breakfast seating for four shown in the pictures and two bar areas that each seat two. The only item to note is if you have elderly with you the walk to the house is a sloped walkway with no rail. It is manageable with assistance however. Outside area was just as spacious as the inside! Fire pit is a wonderful bonus and so much seating to enjoy the outdoors. Although we did not use, the owner also generously provides kayaks for the visitors enjoyment.

Fantastic Family Vacation House- For Single Family or 2 Families

My husband and I and our 2 adult children (along with 2 dogs) spent the 3rd week of October at this lovely house tucked away along a beautiful, quiet cove. The house is very spacious, and we found it to be very comfortable. Great for spending time together, and plenty of room to get away from each other! The main floor has a beautiful, very well stocked kitchen, a wonderful master bedroom suite, and a very comfortable family room area with a huge flat screen TV. Both the upper level and lower level could be considered separate suites with 2 bedrooms, large bathrooms, living areas with TVs, with gaming tables on each level. Great for 2 families! The whole house was very clean and we felt very safe and comfortable staying here in the middle of the pandemic. The house has about 4 decks to choose from to enjoy the outdoors. We really enjoyed sitting down at the lower deck to watch beautiful sunsets each evening. The main upper deck has a great fire pit surrounded by very comfy chairs. We turned it on one evening for a short period, but our weather was very unseasonably warm so we didn't use it much. Be prepared for lots of steps to navigate between the decks! However, my husband and I are both in our 70's and had no trouble going up and down- just a bit more slowly than our kids! Even our 13 year old dog went up and down the steps multiple times a day! Kayaks were available for our use, but due to total relaxation laziness we never got them in the water. We have rented vacation homes multiple times through VRBO, and Sarah is one of the best hosts that we have dealt with. She provided us with very detailed information about the house, history of the lake, shopping, restaurants, etc.- which was all very helpful. Overall, we had a fantastic, very relaxing week- just what we all needed! Would we stay at this house again? Absolutely- we highly recommend this property.
