We have stayed at this property at least three times now and we can never wait to come back. The house is always so welcoming and it is an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. It’s an amazing house and is always clean and refreshing. Has everything anyone would need. Once you are there you wish you didn’t have to leave. We love the house and area and we for sure will return. The owners also send text regularly while you are there to make sure things are going well and to see if you need anything. It’s the perfect place to be!!

More Fun Than One Should Have!

The location is perfect, close to the little town village(which is great and has everything one should want or need). This is our second time staying in this house and it was just as beautiful this time as the last. So impressed with the house itself and how clean and well kept it is. The house also has everything available that one should need. We definitely will be back again!!

A wonderful place in rural Wyoming

Very spacious and well kept. Quite neighborhood. Well appointed kitchen. Friendly people in the little town. Easy drive to the Sierra Madre and Snowy ranges. We hope to stay there again

Beautiful spacious Lodge

Loved the wrap around covered porch and stream that runs under the Moose Lodge. Perfect for a family get away and for larger family reunions there are lovely well equipped log cabins (Cottonwood Cabins) a stones throw from the main, Moose Lodge. Fishing in the river or beautiful mountain lakes, trails, hot springs and right across from the lodge is a park with basketball, frisbee golf and playground equipment. Loved it!!!

Even better than we imagined!

This was the perfect spot for a family getaway! The cabin was very clean and came well-stocked with everything we needed and more. The location next to the park was great for the kids and we enjoyed relaxing near the stream on the back porch. We had easy communication with the hosts and we highly recommend this cabin! We felt we got so much value for the price!

Perfection

Everything was really nice. The cabin was beautiful and well stocked. Helen was the real star. She was always there to help with a smile. She made our stay just that much more pleasant. Overall, a wonderful experience for my entire family and lots of new memories.

Amazing House!!

The pictures do not do justice to this home. It so amazing and beautiful! Walking distance to a great restaurant and great area to walk around and enjoy the outside. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect home... amazing location!

This property is truly incredible for this area. We have always stayed in Saratoga at the resort to fish the local area. This year we decided to rent the Moose Lodge and we were not disappointed. It is a very large home with room for all. Extremely well maintained and very clean. Perfect for a wilderness getaway with easy access to the mountains, or stay around town and enjoy the best restaurants only a couple minutes walk away. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful!!

I have stayed in places that looked NOTHING like the pictures. This place is not that. It is everything it says it will be plus. The kitchen is fully stocked and it even has a crockpot. LOL The only suggestion I have, is if you are coming to stay and like a lot of ice, bring it. The closest place to buy ice was Saratoga. Everyone in Riverside and Encampment was out. Thank you Matt and Allison for a wonderful stay.

Amazing Cabin

This has been one of the best cabin we’ve stayed at! Well appointed house with fully stocked kitchen and a short walk to restaurants and grocery store. Responsive and helpful hosts. We highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking to stay in the area.

Snowmobile Trip 2023

The house was really nice with plenty of room. We had a group of 7 guys going snowmobiling. The kitchen was really nice layout and awesome to use for the meals we ended up making. The only issue we had with the kitchen is the oven was a little bit of a pain to figure out. Would definitely look at renting this place again for future snowmobile trips.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Getaway

We had just a wonderful time this Thanksgiving holiday celebrating with our family at this cabin in WY. It was quiet and remote, peaceful and charming, and our stay was lovely. The cabin is so well equipped - we lacked for nothing! It is beautifully updated and thoughtfully decorated, and the owners were friendly and easily accessible. We spent our time playing at the park, relaxing in the hot springs, watching holiday movies and playing games. There was so much space for us all - the kids didn't want to leave! We have been recommending this cabin to eveyone we've see since we've (sadly...) gotten been to Denver.

Wonderful house. VERY clean

Loved the house, it was very clean. Probably the cleanest vrbo I have ever stayed in. Beds were comfortable. The outdoor space was amazing and we loved getting up and having coffee on the porch next to the stream.

Our Dream House!

The Moose Lodge at Cottonwood Cabins was without a doubt the best vacation home we have ever stayed in, and it's not close. Our expectations were high coming in based on the photos we had seen, but the place FAR exceeded even our high expectations. It's a DREAM house. Allison and Matt's hospitality and attention to detail is unrivaled. The place is furnished in a way that makes guests feel special. So clean and comfortable. There are dozens of chairs/corners/comfy spots to try out - inside and out. The wrap-around porch is enormous and the deck is glorious. It's so refreshing being there that one loses motivation to venture out and explore the area - but we did that too! Medicine Bow is awesome. We found a quite like and did some hiking and paddle boarding. Found the local hot springs in Saratoga. Saw a bull moose up close. Could explore the area for weeks and not get bored. The local Bear Trap cafe and saloon is awesome. And we love disc golfing and had a course right across the street at the park! I only wish we lived closer so we could return more regularly - we would. Even from Maryland, we will find a way to get back. We are so thankful for Allison and Matt and Moose Lodge!

Heaven on earth...

If you are on the fence about renting this house, just do it! We came from Nebraska, Minnesota and Colorado and the Lodge did not disappoint. We fished, hiked and spent time on the Snowy Range. We also visited Saratoga. The kids enjoyed playing in the river and even played in the river running under the house. The hosts were very responsive. We will be back.
