River Ridge Lodge: Luxury Lodge on the Menominee River

River Ridge Lodge is an 8 Bedroom, 7 ½ bathroom luxury riverfront, vacation lodge. The lodge sits on a ¼ of a mile of the Menominee River, some of the best fishing in the Michigan UP and offers a swimming pond that is great for enjoying warmer days.

The lodge is luxurious throughout, with TVs in every bedroom, a pool table, foosball table, shuffleboard table, ping pong table, gourmet kitchen, and optional air conditioning for an additional fee. The views are stunning from every room!

Main Level:
The main level offers a Great Room with a stone gas fireplace, 2 couches, and 6 chairs for families to gather. The bar includes a refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, 5 leather barstools, and a 75" TV, The gourmet kitchen offers views of the river and pond with a double oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, prep sink, and refrigerator with a second refrigerator in the garage, 6 barstools, and a breakfast table for 4. The dining room and breakfast room are adjoining with seating for 12. The grand-master bedroom includes a King Bed, a 55" TV, and a loveseat with views of the Menominee River. The grand master bathroom includes a jetted tub, double sink vanities, and a shower separate. The 2nd main level master bedroom offers, deck access, a king bed, TV, and a ¾ bathroom with views of the river. The 3rd bedroom offers 2 queen beds. Other rooms: powder bathroom, an office, a laundry room, and a mudroom.

Upper Level:
The loft overlooks the great room and includes a pool table, shuffleboard table, and card table for 6. There are 4 master bedrooms all with a king bed, tv, and views of the river or pond.

Lower Level:
There is one master bedroom with 2 queen beds and a ¾ bathroom.

Outside offers lounging by the river and seating next to the wood-burning fire-pit.

In August 2025, our family of 18 had the pleasure of staying at River Ridge Lodge, and it was an unforgettable experience. The Lodge offered ample space and comfort for everyone, making it the perfect setting for a large family getaway. The grounds were beautifully maintained, with a charming pond that drew in a variety of wildlife—nature’s entertainment at its finest.We spent countless hours relaxing on the patio and gathered around the fire pit for some memorable campfires. Being right on the river added a special touch, especially for those who enjoyed leisurely "Lazy River" rides—an ideal way to reconnect and share stories.The kitchen was impressively stocked, complete with thoughtful extras like a Panini press, Keurig, and other handy appliances that elevated our stay. Communication with the host was seamless and prompt, which made everything even smoother.

Fantastic house

The most beautiful house in a private location surrounded by trees and water. Who could ask for more. The configuration of the house was perfect for our family with 10 adults and 2 kids. 8 bedrooms with 7 1/2 baths and 6 of those bedrooms with king beds. Absolutely amazing. And very well stocked. We had an awesome 5 days there. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful house on the Menominee River

Our family held our reunion here in 2013. We loved it so much, we decided to stay again in 2025. The pond, and having the canoe for a trip down the river, were definite highlights. We saw turkeys, geese, a fox, and a doe with her fawn roaming the grounds on the property. It was a delightful stay.

AMAZING PROPERTY

We had a fairly large (18 people) family/friends trip to this house. I have to admit I was worried staying under one roof with all these people, but this house did not disappoint. There is enough room and plenty of areas outside to have time away and relax. There was also enough seating that we can enjoy meals together. The open concept made this extra large home very warm and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and even more. There are beautiful views from every area and bedroom. EVERYONE had a great time. There's enough shoreline to accommodate anyone or everyone who wants to fish. The fishing was also great by the way! Would definitely come back!

Relaxing getaway

The house was beautiful and located on a serene river. Tons of space and huge kitchen! We were all very comfortable in the home and bedrooms are spacious! Use of boats a plus too! Downside was we were told the swimming pond would be safe to swim in. Property keeper said there was too much algae and advised against it. Although he nicely put on filters. WiFi in the area was not very good and it would have been nice to be given maps as gps stops working nearby. Property mgmt company did not respond to our questions the last 2 days. Still loved the house and had the best time!

Perfect Family Vacation

This was a great spot for our family vacation! The house was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and everyone loved having their own bathrooms. There was enough seating for all of us to share a table for dinner, and we loved having happy hour at the beautiful bar in the living room! The pond was a hit! We brought our own floaties (even though there were some there!) and enjoyed floating in the warm clean water every day! We’d definitely stay again!

Multi generational family trip

House was beautiful and inside was very well kept up. Expansive kitchen with every appliance you would need - even a bread making machine. First house we stayed in that had adequate seating for all of our group. Loved the pond which we used daily. 2 kayaks,1 canoe and paddle boat with many life jackets were provided. Comfortable beds and loft game room. Garage was used for games. There was a large container with balls and toys. We would consider renting again. Would have given 5 stars for the property but outside was in need of some care. For example weeding, especially between the stone walk ways. Deck had some boards that were in need of repair. We went rafting at Kosir's Rafting in Silver Cliff, WI which was great. Town of Stephenson had music on 1 night which was enjoyable.

Absolute Perfection

This place was even better than we had imagined. It had everything we needed for an incredible long weekend - the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fully stocked, and there were so many wonderful touches that went above and beyond. And when we weren't able to figure out how to work the fireplace, someone was there to help us within an hour. We highly recommend!

perfect extended family vacation

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the river with extended family. The house and property were top notch—clean, spacious, plenty of room for fourteen of us. We loved morning coffee on the patio, canoeing and fishing in the river, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, playing pool and ping pong, roasting marshmallows fireside, stargazing. The location was secluded and quiet for hanging out but was a good home base for day trips to Painted Rock National Lakeshore, the Iron Mine, or whitewater rafting. Memorable trip! The property is a winner. Thanks for the hospitality.

2023 family reunion

Amazing home, CL, kitchen was super stocked with appliances, spices, dishes, etc more than enough for our troop of 16. We enjoyed fishing in the banks of the river, kayaking, and swimming. The kids loved hunting for frogs, watching the deer, riding bikes on the long driveway. The fire pit was used every night, star gazing, and smores. The garage provided a safe place for toddlers to be part of the outdoor fun. Highly recommend this home for a group. Coffee in the morning on the deck watching the river will be my favor ite memory.

Comfort in Nature

Remote setting on Menominee River provided a quiet and peaceful vacation for 3 generations of family. Short drives (30 minutes or so) provided excursions to nearby towns for touring and food. The property was very accommodating for several families with members of all ages—15 months to upper 60s. Well-appointed with furnishings, kitchen appliances and cooking utensils, recreational options, house-wide wi-fi and more. Great getaway place from hot lower Midwest weather in July!

The layout of the house is perfect for groups! We had 5 couples and 2 young kids and with the en-suite bathrooms we all had our own space to retreat to. The property - inside and out - was as pictured and exceeded our expectations.

Smoke on the water

We absolutely loved our time out at the property. It had something for everyone inside, outside and in the area for the group we had. 10 of us ranging from 15 - 45 thoroughly enjoyed our guys weekend. The fire pit next to the water was a hit. We played pool, cards, and ping pong everyday. Those of us that like fishing had a blast catching smallmouth bass right out in front of the house in the channel. Being so close to the casino and golf was a definite plus. The property being on 10 acres of land was perfect and it felt like we were all alone out there with an occasional boater going by on the river. For 10 people there was more than enough room to have our own space when we desired. Everyone agreed that we will definitely be back again!

Relaxing and amazing getaway!

We were very impressed with this vacation rental; by far one of the best we've ever stayed in. The property was extremely clean, and the beds and pillows are high end and extremely comfortable. Attention to detail in this property is great. You can tell it's very well cared for. The swimming pond was lots of fun and the river runs right behind the home, which offers a beautiful view and fun for fishing right out the back of the home. Ample seating everywhere inside and outside the home. We had 20 guests ranging from 5-77, and everyone enjoyed the home and was never on top of each other. The home is just beautiful inside and out and cozy. Even more amazing than the pictures - you won't be disappointed! We had deer visit every morning. Such a peaceful place and very private. Thank you for the wonderful time!
