The only thing we can put a finger on is the fact that the towels by the pool were simply rolled up again after use so the next person got a (potentially) dirty towel. We solved this by bringing our own towels from our room. I think this is simply an oversight, because everything else was so perfect and clean.»

If you like or tolerate Indian grit, noise pollution and chaos, then this is the place. «Arriving EllBee, and they did not find the reservation. Actually, they did not have the reservation. It took them 45 minutes and a call to Hotels.com to find out that their booking system was not working. In the room a nice shower - did not work though. So had to use the bathtub… the maintenance should come and repair - but … it took exactly 36 hours until maintenance came Sunday morning at 7:00…. Or actually they just came to check if the water worked, and tell that maintenance only would ...

«The hotel is at a good location and the new building is great besides the restaurant too is wonderful with great food and wonderful live music. The worry is if you get a regular room you will get a stale room with bed sheets and walls very stale. Pls only consider new building not the heritage (old wing) »

«For the budget price, this was a good stay. We stayed for 2 nights, the hotel was adequate. The rooms were quite basic but we loved the mountain views. We hired a motorbike from a nearby shop so it was easy to move around from this hotel, otherwise that would've been a problem because of the location. At least 30 min walk to Laxman or Ram jhula. The better vibe is on the other side of the river so it matters. The water heater took a long time to heat up and the drain clogged easily, but ...
