The Hamilton Mansion has 32 rooms designed around The Hamiltons` world travels with incredible unique architecture, boasts 9 sleeping quarters to select from or entire Mansion. Includes private courtyard, outdoor patio, sunken garden and lanai with views of Lake Erie. Great for weddings, parties, retreats, corporate functions, family reunions and holidays both business and relaxing. All the expectations of couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends.

Perfect for Weddings and Events!

The Hamilton Mansion is on the Pennsylvania and New York wine trail. As well as close Lake Erie, Chautauqua Institute, Peek’n Peak Ski and Golf Resort, Lily Dale, and many family-friendly activities like Panama Rocks. The Hamilton Mansion is a large historic mansion with secrets to explore, surrounded by Charles and Bertha Hamiltons love of travel and pets.

You are invited to enjoy privacy if you desire or make yourself right at home in this amazing Mansion, wandering through its` numerous amazing rooms with rich architecture and history. Although a Mansion, it was skillfully designed by the architects to transform into your home for you to relax in for your stay.

Parking is available in front and around the home with a gated driveway or along the road. Trailer and boat parking is available. We are a short walk from a wonderful homemade ice cream store and excellent coffee and pizza shops.

Ripley is a small town in Chautauqua County in Wine Country. It is surrounded by vineyards, amazing views of Lake Erie and numerous wineries. Within walking distance of the Hamilton Mansion is a wonderful pizza, wings, subs, salads, burgers and really anything you would enjoy. There is also, a coffee shop and an amazing ice cream shop with real homemade ice cream made with real Amish cream. All are so good you will crave it once you`ve gone!

Great location located on the wine trail and minutes to Lake Erie. The Hamilton is a great getaway for team building and Weddings. Just off the Thruway in Small Town America.

The Hamilton Mansion also have a limo for an additional charge that can provide safe, fun transportation to the many local wineries in the surrounding area.
Pets, Parties and Events will need to be approved with host prior to reservation. There is a $100 pet fee due prior to check-in.

Reservations to host Weddings are subject to an additional Venue and Cleaning fee. Please inquire with host for more information and pricing.

You must be 26+ years old to make a reservation due to safety and insurance requirements, unless otherwise approved by host. Guest provide Valid ID will need to be present at check-in.

The use of confetti, glitter, silly string, or any other party supplies that result in stains or additional cleaning is strictly prohibited on the premises. Violation of this will result in additional cleaning fees charged to your reservation as well as forfeit of your reservation deposit.

Reservation modifications are treated as and subject to the same rules as the cancellation policy. Please submit modification/alteration requests in advance (7+ days) prior to check-in, otherwise requests within the 7 days to the check-in date may be denied.

We enjoyed our Christmas together at this beautiful home, ages running from 5 to 80! Everyone loved the home and it’s rich history. Well stocked kitchen. Super cool decor with comfortable furniture with multiple TV’s. The secret rooms and stairwell are awesome. We enjoyed the indoor AND outdoor fireplaces. The dining room table had plenty of room for 15 of us. Our dog enjoyed his stay too. Some folks visited the lake and Santa found us for Christmas morning;)Highly recommend this home and will be rebooking!

We booked Friday to Sunday for a golf getaway. The place was very clean and well stocked. Kitchen was very large and also well stocked. A lot of bathrooms and bedrooms. Obviously, a ton of space to spread out. The house had lots of fun little rooms and hidden walls and such. Pretty interesting They do not have central air conditioning but had portable units in most rooms. Like many older homes it didn’t have a lot of outlets. Bring an extension cord or two with you.

Wedding Weekend

Our group had a blast exploring the mansion and its unique history. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy games, music and lively conversations all at once. So many beautiful unique pre-wedding picture settings. We appreciated the warm greeting from Lauren’s staff and felt at home immediately. We’ll be back for a family game weekend soon!!

Great way to celebrate with friends and family

This location was perfect for friends to meet from Ohio and NY. House was so much fun. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. So much space never felt crowded and we had 16 adults. Outdoor had plenty of space for games.

Family Birthday

We were looking for a place to celebrate my husbands and his brothers 60 birthday. This place was perfect!! Everyone could stay together. We had dinner outside Friday night while my 2 boys were both able to make a cake in the spacious kitchen. Rain came on Saturday forcing us inside but there was so much space no one felt enclosed. The kids and kids at heart loved exploring all the little passageways throughout the mansion. Never got to use the hot tub, but it’s a great feature. Lauren and her staff were amazing to work with and accommodated our every need. Location was perfect, right across from a pizza place, for that evening snack. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great family gathering place.

Best Place Ever

15 of us (5 families) and a couple of dogs stayed at the Hamilton Mansion for our annual family "Thanksmas" celebration. It was wonderful! Not only is it half-way between our Rochester families and our Ohio families, it allows dogs, and it has a table large enough for all of us to sit around at the same time! For Thanksgiving that is important! It was decorated for the season with a Christmas tree in every room!

It was such an interesting place, eclectic and interesting. It’s a very cool place that is showing its age but that is part of the charm. The ladies that were running it were absolutely amazing! Over and above for sure:) would definitely go back or visit other locations that they manage!

Oh my this mansion!!!

This property seriously is amazing! We had a small family reunion with various ages from four years old to 80 years old and everyone was comfortable in this beautiful historic home. Check in was a breeze. The backyard is lovely, with a sunken garden and hot tub. We ate many meals outside on the beautiful patio as well as around the many multiple enormous dining room tables. The kids had so much to do and there are many beaches and wineries nearby. It is situated on a cute main street with a delicious pizza place right across the street. Get the torpedo pizza, you won’t be disappointed! There was also a park and a little ice cream parlor down the road. I would highly recommend this location. We have family coming from Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Detroit and it was a great central meeting point.

A relaxing stay in the Mansion

Spacious, charming and very suited to a long stay for a family . Great kitchen and grounds including a hot tub, outdoor eating. We had a couple minor glitches and the owner responded within minutes. A great tour of the house upon arrival. Highly recommended for events and for families.

Amazing!

I thought it would be too good to be true but it was as advertised! My two cousins and I were overwhelmed with the beauty of this property inside and out. I can’t recommend it enough. Not just the stately beauty of every room in this mansion but the amenities with the kitchen, the towels, the linens were all exceptional. I’ll never get to cook in a kitchen this nice again. They had two (2!) ice machines

Perfect for family gathering!

We were celebrating an 80th birthday this weekend. The house is very big and filled with an expansive collection of dishes and glassware that were perfect for the tea party we were having. Lauren, the host even brought tablecloths and linen napkins for our use. The caretaker Will, who lives on the third floor gave us a tour of the house and let us know that we were free to use anything that we saw in the house. Great communication with Lauren and Will.

Unique VRBO experience with amazing history.
