It's almost always sunny for at least part of the day in Rincón, so it's rare not to have any hot water, but it does happen from time to time when we get a couple of straight days of rain and clouds. I apologize for the inconvenience and understand there is nothing like a hot shower! Our overarching mission at The Beach Pad is to be a sustainable option for travel. This is why when renovating and building out our property, we opted for a solar water heater, installed solar panels for most of our energy consumption, used low VOC paints, and installed low-flow toilets and shower heads to give travelers who wish to reduce their carbon footprint an eco-friendly option. I can’t tell you how sorry we are that you were unhappy with your stay, I only wish we had the opportunity to address your concerns while you were staying with us. The appeal of the Beach Pad is that we are located in the heart of Puntas, walking distance to restaurants, bars, beaches and shops. There is a popular restaurant/bar next door that has DJs and live music however the music is supposed to stop at midnight. Anything beyond that and we are happy to call and address it with the owner’s next door or even the local authorities if necessary on behalf of our guests’ comfort. We have a great relationship with them and they are very receptive to any concerns we bring to their attention. We are exactly 1 block away from the beach we find it takes us 2 minutes walking to get to the nearest beach access. There are multiple ways to reach the beach but the closest is through the Tamboo Bar and Grill public entrance. Perhaps you were accessing it from a different point of entry? Also, I apologize about the pillows and will review our inventory to address your concern immediately. We would have been happy to provide you with alternate pillows had you let us know. Our #1 goal is for our guests to be comfortable and have the best possible time at The Beach Pad. I’m very sorry this wasn’t the case for you. We are a small, veteran/family -owned business and happily take all of our guests’ comments to heart and will address all concerns brought to our attention. We thank you again for your feedback.
