4 day stay for Baseball Hall of Fame visit. Check in was very easy, accomodations were great. Host was very responsive via text over the weekend. Short drive to Cooperstown, enjoyed paddle boards provided at the home.

Baseball/family

We came to stay for a baseball tournament but wanted something more for the older siblings. This lake house was perfect! It was beautiful, clean, offered many activities for the water, and the owner was so supportive during our stay. I would stay here again in a heart beat! The perfect getaway from the intensity of baseball tournaments! Loved it!

Beautiful lake views

We had a wonderful time at this cozy lake house with stunning views while our son played baseball in Cooperstown. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We ate at several recommended restaurants and really enjoyed all of them. We fished several times and used the stand up paddle boards too.

Amazing Stay!!!

Simply put, this is a stunning property, owned by a stellar host. The location was beautiful, quiet, very clean, and central to both Cooperstown and Richfield Springs. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a cozy lakeside getaway to rent this location.

Lake Effect

The house and lake are like one thing. Between the views you see from inside the house to the multiple seating and gathering spaces outside. It was delightful. The house itself has a simple and easy layout. There are nice decorative touches that made us feel like we could be staying at a friends house. And very very clean. Really. Quiet friendly neighbors. We all felt like we had lucked out in finding this rental.

getaway with baseball

we stayed here while our son was playing in the dreamparks baseball tournament. it was nice to be on the lake. saturday night we could here the live entertainment from across the lake coming from the lake house restaurant which was a nice treat

The best place to relax and find peace!

We had the pleasure of staying at Grey Skye while visiting family in New York. It was a beautiful retreat designed for peace and relaxation. The view overlooking the lake was stunning and we enjoyed getting out on the water with paddle boards. Coffee on the deck while birdwatching was the best way to start the day as was enjoying the cool breeze by the lake in the evening. The home had everything we could have needed and was in close proximity to stores and activities. We would love to come back in the future!

Cooperstown stay

Our son played in the Cooperstown dream Park Little League tournament this last week. We were so excited to stay at this beautiful lake house Property. The location was perfect for us. Far enough away to relax in the peace and quiet and enjoy beautiful mornings on the deck and evenings watching the sun go down. We played in the water, fished off the paddle boards and the deck, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The house was so cute and very clean. They had everything you would need in the kitchen and bathroom, as well. We will definitely be back when we return to Cooperstown and highly recommend staying at this beautiful lake house cottage!

Canadarago Lake Hideaway

A perfect army June week in upstate NY on picturesque Canadarago Lake while my 12 year old son played baseball 20 easy minutes away at the Cooperstown Dreams Park. The owner, Kimberly, was simply fantastic. Maybe the nicest, most attentive and responsive owner I’ve ever rented from on VRBO. The house was perfect for me. A beautiful view out the back windows of Canadarago Lake. A big back porch (w/a serious grill/outdoor kitchen) and steps down to a deck one lake. Quiet and peaceful. 5 stars across the board. Maybe 15 minutes from downtown Cooperstown and the Hall of Fame. Easy drive. Less than 10 minutes to the Lake View Restaurant in Richfield Village or the Buzz Restaurant in Fly Creek. Both gems with great food and service. I hope to bring my entire family back for another stay!

Awesome Stay

Perfect cabin for our family getaway

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations when we traveled to Cooperstown a few weeks ago. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and checked in with us via text often. The cabin was well stocked and exactly as described. The deck and lake view were one of our favorite parts. Central New York surprised us with it's beauty. The home was very clean and we appreciated that towels were provided. My kiddos swam off the dock and my son fished a few mornings as well. We did run out of toilet paper after a couple of days, but we did have seven people staying in the house so that wasn't shocking. The one thing that wasn't ideal about the property is that it only has one small bathroom. With 7 of us, it took a few days to get used to not being able to use the bathroom immediately at times, but we made it work. The town that the home is located in is close with a very nice grocery store. A few nights we bought burgers and came home to grill them on the amazing grill located on the back deck. We had some gorgeous evening views while we ate. The purpose of this vacation was to watch little league baseball in Cooperstown and we spent most days in town and at the ball diamonds. The house is located about 20 minutes from Cooperstown and about 30 minutes from Cooperstown Dreams Park. We had an amazing time walking around Cooperstown, checking out the Hall of Fame and checking out all the shops and restaurants. A perfect getaway for our baseball loving family!

Perfection

Every aspect of our stay was literally perfect. The house is exactly as advertised- maybe even better in person! Extremely comfortable for a group of 7, including teens who weren’t bored for a second. Lake is clear and great for kayaking, paddle boards, swimming, fishing and floating. Birding was a plus, as nature lovers we were all a bit surprised and excited each day. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. Host is stellar and communication couldn’t have been better. Easy trips to Cooperstown and Ommegang Brewery (disc golf for teens was a huge hit there!) from the house made for life long memories.

Peaceful Getaway

This was our second stay here and once again it did not disappoint! Kim's place is perfect! The view of the lake is just beautiful! We all enjoyed sunbathing on the deck and then enjoying a quite paddle board ride on the lake. Here home is so cute! Nicely decorated and the perfect size for my family of 4. My MIL came with her sister and there was still plenty of room. We explored the area and just were in awe of it's beauty! Again, just a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Grey Skye! The home was very clean, and beautifully decorated. The property was well stocked with all that we needed for our basic needs and entertainment. Kim ,the owner, was incredibly easy to communicate with. It was a quick 5 minute drive to the grocery store, and a 20 minute drive to downtown Cooperstown. The views of Lake Canadarago are gorgeous, and the access to the lake was fantastic. We had a great time enjoying the fishing and paddle boards. Thank you for a memorable stay!
