    Welcome to The Moorings, a beautiful holiday home with a nautical theme, located in the heart of Rhosneigr. Sleeping 12 guests, this spacious accommodation is perfect for family or friend groups looking for a relaxing getaway just a five‑minute walk from the beach.



    Upon entering, a light and open‑plan hallway greets you, with wooden floors adding a contemporary feel to the interior. The ground floor features two sitting rooms. The main living and dining room is furnished with two comfy leather sofas, a TV, a log burner for cosy autumn/winter stays, and a dining table for eight guests. Large bay windows and patio doors leading to an enclosed terrace area provide a perfect indoor‑outdoor dining experience. The second snug living area is an ideal space for a children's den, furnished with comfy leather sofas and a log burner, making it a cosy spot for kids to watch TV while adults enjoy an after‑dinner conversation around the dining table. The super spacious kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare family‑sized meals and includes a corner breakfast table with chairs and a cushioned bench, perfect for chatting while preparing meals or involving little ones in meal preparation.



    The Moorings has flexible sleeping arrangements to suit various needs. On the ground floor, there are two double bedrooms, one with an additional bunk bed, and a family bathroom complete with a shower over a large bath, toilet, and sink. This setup is ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs or families with younger children who prefer to stay on one level. Upstairs, there are three further en suite bedrooms: a master super‑king bedroom with a walk‑in wardrobe and two twin bedrooms.



    The property boasts various enclosed patio and terrace areas around the property. Patio areas can be accessed from the dining room and kitchen, and a grassed area connects the two. There is also a patio at the front of the house, providing ample outdoor space for relaxation and play. The Moorings is set in a quiet residential cul‑de‑sac with off‑street parking for 3–4 cars.

Lovely property

Great location

We had a lovely stay in the moorings celebrating a family birthday, a good house for a get together we didn't have the best weather so didn't get to utilise the garden / barbacue area but it would have been amazing if we could . The house was very clean , comfy beds and good kitchen equipment .It is in a great area short walk gets you to the lovely beaches ( fab watching the kite surfers ) and to the centre with cafes , restaurants . We had the best time and would definitely recommend for larger family gatherings .

Great house and location

This is the third time we've stayed at The Moorings. It is a great house for families. They are two outside seating areas to catch the morning and evening sun. It is just a short walk to both beaches making the location ideal too. The kitchen has plenty of equipment for 12 people and a second dining table. We've had great holidays in this house and would definitely recommend it to others.

Family gathering

For a group of 8 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 babies, this was the perfect venue. Two social spaces, a large kitchen and 4 bathrooms made the five-day stay fly past. The beach is a two minute walk and there are friendly eateries and pubs close by. Would definitely recommend and will probably return.

Lovely holiday let.

The Moorings was a very well equipped holiday home and had everything you needed. It was very bright and airy and plenty of space to move about for a large family holiday. Outdoor space was great for BBQ's etc. weather permitting! The house was in a quiet cul-de-sac very convenient for the beach, shops, cafes and pubs. Overall a very enjoyable holiday with the family!

A few things to fix

We had a pleasant stay at the property overall, and it suited our needs well. During our stay, the toaster failed and tripped the fuse. We reported this to the letting agency, and it was replaced immediately, which we appreciated. We also reported that the grill was not working, but to our knowledge this was not repaired during our stay. The kitchen crockery and appliances were generally adequate. However, the induction hob did not perform well when all four rings were in use at the same time. We were also surprised that some of the pots and pans provided were not suitable for use on the induction hob. In addition, the knives were quite blunt, and the frying pan was not in particularly good condition. We also noticed that the outside light in the back yard was constantly on and flickering, and we were unable to find a switch to control it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thank you for your prompt response to the toaster issue.

Great holiday home

We recently returned home from a wonderful week stay in Rhosneigr at the Moorings - family of five plus Nan and two dogs. What a fabulous house. You couldn’t ask for more (except maybe a mirror in a few of the bedrooms!). The house was wonderfully laid out and plenty of room for us all. The enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs. Spotlessly clean and a well equipped kitchen. This was our fifth year staying in Rhosneigr with Anglesey Holiday Lettings but this was by far the best house. Hope to return in the future. Excellent multi generational stay

Well proportioned house for our party of 7 adults,child and dog. Good location. Only seating for 5 on sofas in living room which is surprising given that the house sleeps 12. Additional sofas in snug but meant that the party was separated. House is well equipped, although vegetable peeler and teapot lacking in kitchen. Outside areas a mixture of paving and grass with plenty of seating. Another great rental from AHL.

Beautiful home

We stayed in The Moorings at the end of July. The lettings company have been brilliant. Was all very easy and no issues during the booking process. Answered questions quickly if we had any. The house itself is stunning. Brilliant location in Rhosneigr close to everything. Great size house for a group like us. Perfect for children as it has the extra sitting room so they can play together and watch kids TV when they wake up and the evenings. Outside space is fabulous wraps all the way round with 2 different sitting areas. We enjoyed a lovely BBQ on the patio. Bedrooms we a high standard and very clean. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms were modern and very clean. The kitchen is really nice and has everything you need. Outside hose is really handy after being at the beach and covered in sand, means there's very little sand brought into the house. There's lots of games and playing cards etc which the kids enjoyed. We have stayed other places in the area and this was by far the best. So much space and decorated to a very high standard. Our only small criticism is that it rained heavy for 3 days so when we washed clothes there is no where to dry them if its raining as you can't stick the heating on to dry things. There's is however a self services laundrette a few minutes up the road but it's a little pricey. But a very minor issue. The place is superb and would definitely recommend.

Rhosneigr Out of season

We stayed in January for a family get together to celebrate a milestone birthday. The property is well located and about a five minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and shops in Rhosneigr. The Oystercatcher is also a short walkable distance from the property. We had 11 people who slept one night and the other nights between four and five, the property is spacious and even at capacity it didn't feel cramped. Three of the five bedrooms were en-suite, with the two downstairs share a bathroom. Although we didn't use the outside space there was plenty of room to sit outside to socialise, have a BBQ etc. There was also a utility room attached to the garage to dry wetsuits etc. Parking is not an issue at all.There is parking for easily four vehicles. If you have more and don't mind being blocked in you'd probably get six in. The property was clean and well presented and we had a lovely winter stay at a reasonable price.

Great stay

Surprisingly spacious accommodation. Enclosed garden to 3 sides (dog proof). Kitchen is a great gathering space with plenty of seating. Location is perfect with plenty of parking available. Village was quiet as off season however still places to eat and drink and a great Indian restaurant which did a takeaway!

Moorings review

Good location 5 minutes walk to the beach. Fully enclosed garden great for our two big dogs. Good size property we were a group of 7 adults and it did not feel crowded. The only minor complaints were that some rooms had no mirrors and very little storage space. Overall a good property and would definitely stay here again.

A very good holiday at The Moorings

The property was just as described. Spacious and very well equipped. Parking was good for 4 cars. A secure garden for our Border Terrier Lillie. It was only a Five minute walk to an absolutely lovely beach. Dog friendly and the grandchildren loved it. The village has a shop for essentials but for a big shop you need to go to Holyhead which has several big supermarkets. There is a fish and chip shop and pizza place, both very good. There are several ice cream parlours. There are several places to eat out and several shops that sell water fun and sport stuff. Not a lot else in the village but we expected that

Family holiday

We were very impressed with The Moorings. The villa is well equipped and the quality of the bed linen and towels are of high quality. It is spacious and comfortable. Lots of interesting artefacts throughout. Plenty of books and games. Only a short walk to the beach and the village. Can’t fault it and would love to stay again.
