Gilfach Nature Reserve (2 miles) is a special place to visit; a wide variety of habitats, from high moorland to oak woodland, make it a haven for birds and animals. Elan Valley, 6 miles, is great for keen walkers, cyclists and anglers. If you prefer to travel by four legs rather than two, Lion Royal Pony Trekking Centre can be found 3 miles from the property.

This is a great spot to relax in front of the TV, or look out over the garden through the patio doors. A navy and white colour scheme gives the kitchen a stylish finish. Head out of the lounge via the patio doors and onto the decking, which overlooks a lovely lawn leading down to a stream. A picnic table on the decked area provides the option of eating your meals outside when the weather permits. Undoubtedly the most appealing feature of this delightful outdoor space, however, is the hot tub. You can raise a glass to happy holidays while enjoying a relaxing soak. From here, steps lead down to the lawn, where there is a fire pit – ideal for toasting marshmallows on starlit nights.
