An once abandoned 1905 family house has been completely transformed in '23 to an impressive stone-built villa with all amenities that the modern guest seeks.Private pool,hot tub,BBQ&playground,it has all it takes for a luxurious yet authentic experience! It's terracotta color & island aesthetic blend perfectly with Crete’s rich nature giving the illusion that is emerging from the earth,offering mountain views and stunning golden sunsets.



Combining traditional Cretan architecture with boho artistic elements in an elegant way this villa, aims to provoke the senses and create a feeling of euphoria and positive aura from the first minute you step in it. Afterall it's name "Butterfly" refers to summer, beauty and carefreeness of a colorful butterfly.

Built on the slope of a mountain right above Armeni village, this house is uniquely set up in two levels of 150sqm in total, offering vast views from above for an ideal getaway.



Indoors:

As you enter the main gate of the premises, you will walk a few stairs to get to the villa’s raised patio where the main door of the house is located. The ground floor is an open floor plan with a living room and a fully equipped kitchen (fridge with freezer ,stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, sandwich press, full cutlery and glassware). The kitchen also includes a dining table and air-conditioning. Decorated with colorful touches, the first living room consists of two couches, a middle table and a beautiful wooden drawer for storage. On the ground floor next to the living room there is also a bathroom with a big overhead shower with glass doors.



To get to the first floor you can use the inside staircase with railings that go up all the way to the ceiling, situated right next to the kitchen. Alternatively, you may use the entrance to the first floor which can be found on the big balcony overlooking Armeni village and Cretan mountains. Here you will find a second living room furnished with a comfortable corner sofa and a 52 inches smart satellite TV. Situated on this floor are also the three bedrooms, two double and one twin bedroom. With direct access to the balcony, the first of the double bedrooms includes an open wardrobe, a dresser and a TV (not satellite). The twin bedroom, consists of two single beds, a wardrobe, drawer, bookcase and a small desk. Last but not least, the master bedroom consists of double bed and a built-in sofa bed within a charming dome where the third guest can sleep or be used as a seating area. The room also has a wardrobe, dresser, AC and ensuite W/C and has immediate access to the children's playground in the back patio. Moreover, on this floor, there is a full bathroom with a bathtub and a washing machine.



Outdoors:

Overlooking the trees and stunning nature of Armeni Village is the multi-leveled outdoors space of Villa Butterfly. As you enter the premises, you will immediately see the pool area, decorated beautifully with puffed sunbeds and chairs, wooden sunbeds and a shaded seating area constructed with stone walls and furnished with a sofa, middle table and plants. The pool has a size of 25sqm (1.35 deep) and is gorgeous both in the morning and at night when it is elegantly lit. In the pool area there is also a modern shower, ensuring that you will have an easy and fun time swimming at the pool. Walking up a few stairs, you get to the raised patio where the main entrance to the house is. Here you can enjoy the BBQ and gather at the dining table for an al -fresco meal, or relax in the built-in seat to read your book! Go up another level and relish in the fabulous stone built heated jacuzzi (can be also used as a children pool), designed and decorated so as to offer seating space as well. Last but not least , go around the corner and rejoice with your little ones in the villa’s newly created playground!



*Please note that the maximum temperature the hot tub can reach is 23° C.

All guests are expected to check in after 15.00 and check out by 10.00. We are happy to arrange an early check in or a late check out if we know in advance and if next/previous guests' schedule allows us to arrange that.



Guests are responsible to ensure that the property is left in a reasonable condition of cleanliness and in the same condition of repair as upon arrival.

The number of guest should not exceed the number referred at the rental agreement. We do not hold any responsibility for the extra people.

While all pools are built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization, parents have full responsibility for supervising their children. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the pool or hot tub at any time without adult supervision. Diving is also prohibited.
