Hoteller i Remutaka Forest Park

"The rooms are hip, with a cool design throughout, with poor soundproofing. Surfaces are clean in the bathroom. Checkin is done by yourself via terminal which works fine. The bar and restaurant is exquisitely designed, as the rest of the hotel and rooms. The reason for the major let down for our stay, is the fact that this (studio) hotel has possible THE WORST soundproofed door (or lack thereof) into the room I've ever stayed in. It is insane how well we could here even the slightest whisper from the hallway (or in this case the the noisy staff banging every single door, closet and trolley). Spoke to reception which passed on the message and the talking was kept to a minimum between 08:00-09:00 day two. This is a shame, as this is in a GREAT location, quiet streets outside (even on New Years) and walking distance to everything you need in Wellington. If they can get proper doors and sealing around, I would give this a five star rating."
