«It’s a beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. The location of the hotel cannot be better especially for people with luggage’s as it’s right at the edge of the ancient town so we don’t need to drag our luggage on narrow cobblestone roads in town. We went to eat inside the ancient town almost every day. The hotel consists of individual old-style houses which are very private yet inside is new and tastefully decorated. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful with all we needed ...

«View and service were amazing. There is a bus station in front of the hotel parking from Lijiang old Town. The bus will stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge first, then ending at this hotel. We've spent a night here then took another bus direct to Shangri La the next day. »

«It was such a heart warning stay. Loved the host and family’s reception and kindness. The location is perfect, away from the noisy part of the town and yet, on the most beautiful back street, with creek and stone bridge right in the front. Will certainly come back next time in Lijiang.»

«Nice hotel, beautifully decoration in lobby and common areas. Rooms on the small side do Chinese standards, but good enough. Furniture for me was reaching its life limit for me, but comfortable indeed. Short on facilities (just one restaurant) and if you want to have a drink at the bar, the challenge is to find a waiter as they are the same attending the restaurant and they need to run for one end to the other. Waiters however, really nice and helpful»

«Excellent assistance from owner and staff, location great if you like to walk, look and hopefully learn something😀. An upstairs room is possibly better than a courtyard one if you are not partial to late night returnees or check in’s.»

«The room is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The owner speaks English and uses WeChat to keep us posted. The only complaint is it may take sometimes for the hot water to arrive, and the room is a bit cold. Moreover, the hotel is situated in the center of Lijiang old town, which makes travelling easier and saves time.»

«Good breakfast, the view in the breakfast area is amazing, decent dining experience. Would be super helpful if there are laundry room and fitness room. The environment outside the hotel is chaotic and not clean. Our driver Mr. Yong Zhao is very professional and nice!!!»
