«We had such a beautiful meal last night in Sally Gap Brasserie. Steak was cooked to perfection. Sides were divine we went for the creamy spinach. Staff were all amazing and ver friendly especially the doorman John, lovely man and very helpful »

«It's an older hotel, but fine for a couple of days. Some old-fashioned breakfast serving with pricing per units. We better like the Scandinavian breakfast table :) We had problems with leakage in the toilet, but this was quickly fixed for us. Mostly so, the stay was fine. Centrally located by the beach. Parking a little negative. Would like to be able to stop outside the hotel to check in and avoid dragging luggage long distances.»

«Our stay at the Horse & the Hound was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. The food served in the restaurant was exceptional, and the room was clean, comfortable, & quiet. We especially appreciated Alan at the pub who made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. He recommended wonderful area sites and cafes and invited us to hear live Irish music in the pub the first night we were there. «I loved the location being so close and convenient to hiking trails, lakes, Wicklow Gap, and close enough to shopping and other amenities. The staff was excellent! I appreciated the conversations, recommendations, and welcoming personalities. I didn't like that there was no outdoor seating near the water for a picnic, or just to enjoy being outdoors. The only outdoor seating was by the BBQ Cafe and posted signage that you can't use that seating unless buying from them. But what good is having ...

«I loved my stay. Room was cozy and clean. Walkable to Glendalough and some nearby shops, a lovely pub, and the bus stop back to Wicklow train station. Staff were incredibly nice and caring. They even brought me ice for my ankle that I injured while hiking the Wicklow Way. A great stop if you are hiking the Wicklow Mountains.»
